People need to understand that a serious machine like this, driven with tires that have barely any thread on them is very likely to cause an accident and lead to the death of whoever is in the car. Yet they blame Porsche..
1:31 and 1:35 nfs carbon's carrera gt shifting noise is just unmatched, i still crave for that sound to this day, i never have a run without carrera gt in the garage on carbon aswell, im kinda sad there is no sound like that in newer nfs
yea. I don't know why the devs put a v8 sound in this car. Only the Patrol variant have a v10 sound. But it was recycled from the lfa. The enforcer and undercover have stupid v8 sounds
Actually the regular cop version has a V10 sound but it is a recycled LFA sound. The undercover version uses a Panamera sound which is a Porsche 928 sound.
But overall still NFS HP 2 has the worst sounding Carrera GT and it is understandable why. To me it sounds like a V6 lol. A V6 Carrera GT is worse than a V8 one tbh.
6:10 The Carrera GT from NFS Rivals, in the Xbox 360 version, at least the one you unlock by completing the Patrol list, has the Lexus LFA sound, much better than the Panamera sound from the video gameplay, probably it's a PC gameplay, it's impressive how the Xbox 360 version has a much better Carrera GT sound than the PC version! (now I don't know about the PS3, PS4 and Xbox One version)
@@Milgraaauuu Fun fact. The NFS The Run Carrera GT sound is the same as NFS HP 2010 but the car mixing in this game is pretty bad because it is the only Frostbite NFS that used TMX format like NFS PS. And obviously GIN for Frostbite work better than TMX.
@@Milgraaauuu Just adding a fact because like how Black Box changed the Carrera GT sound in NFS Carbon - all the way to World for the 2nd time in NFS The Run.
@@HeroManNick132 Not to me in my opinion, Carbon's GT has a sequential transmission so it might sound better with a slightly different sound, while mw 2005's version is a stock version, now that i think about it, if the Lexus LFA was around at that time and in need for speed, they'd use the 2005 sound for it
@@EscoDon20 NFS MW 2005 has lower quality sound recording - it has too much wind noise. NFS Carbon has separate engine and exhaust sounds, while NFS MW 2005 only exhaust. And the sound quality is actually crisper and clearer in NFS Carbon. And the sound even improved more in NFS Pro Street. Plus you are just a nostalgia-tard as usual...
my favourite Car in the whole world But also my 3rd favourite car in the whole world my ride my Porsche Carrera GT Forza rules Need For Speed is the best The Crew is awesome Xbox4life
I love carrera gr my favorite Porsche of all time, gt7 has the nicest looking model also for it, they have really nailed their car models, no wounder why it takes 6 months to create a car
Wow, quite some effort put in this video for sure! lt's crazy how need for speed used that crappy model from nfs mw 2005 until nfs rivals (except hp 2010) oh my... same for forza, they used the same messed geometry until now and l'm sure they'll continue doing so... cudos to polyfony digital for finnally creating the real thing, the crew 2 one is very good as well
Pardon me for asking, but didn’t a concept version of this appear in Project Gotham Racing 1 and then the actual appear in some of the series along with the same car in other games too?
NFS HP 2: Am I joke to you? Actually if you select the regular cop version it sounds like an LFA. But why no one talks how in PC2/3 it sounds like 2nd gen Gallardo/R8?
@@HeroManNick132 The model in NFS Hot Pursuit 2 its the Concept version, most of the cars in the game had weird engine sound, except the Ford TS50 that had a good V8 engine sound.
Carbon, Forza Motorsport 2, and ProStreet had THE best carrera gt sound. Edit: Forza 7 did have the best car sounds but, the Carrera actually sounds insane in that game.
@@HeroManNick132 i know im way too late for this but by 2002 the carrera gt was only a concept car so it made sense hp2 devs had no idea what they were doing apart from making a v10 sound
It's abundantly clear however that this isn't actually the carrera gts engine for sounds clips but the majority is of an amg v12. They fail to get the correct pitch notation which is higher. Not only that but the carrera gts ability to spool as fast as it does is almost never done correctly and this effects sound as well. Some get close. But none get it right. If I had to pick the closest it's horizon 2 easily.
I can't decide which v10 is better - from the Carrera gt or from the Lexus LFA. The Carrera engine sounds poetic, and the LFA engine is aggressive and both are good!
@@HeroManNick132 Well honestly both have a V10, both sound almost identical, it has the same pitch, rev and sound overall because it's mostly the same type of engine, just like a Huracan and a R8 sound the same, they also have V10 engines but sound completely different from the Carrera and the Gallardo.
@@raionshishi8290 Well, Project Cars 2 and 3 also used an R8/2nd gen Gallardo sound. In NFS Rivals they used an LFA sound for the Patrol version and for the Undercover version - Panamera sound which is like a Porsche 928 sound.
