First thing a did on my boxster 987.2 3.4 pdk was change the wheel to the sport design wheel with paddles , I love it , it’s a must with pdk , air bag transfers straight over on gen 2 , very easy job to do , I got mine off eBay £550 was off a 991 gts in excellent condition.. Nice upload shows exactly what to do ..
My 987.2 3.4 pdk hasn’t got sport or sport plus , once the 82mm throttle And sport headers are fitted , the car will be remapped and pdk gear box remapped , there is room for improvement on the PDK gear box ,down blips and faster gear change .. get it on the rolling road and set up .. sport mode can be mapped into the ecu , but sport plus mode needs the extra button adding to the dash and software then you have launch control as well ... You can buy the sport plus software and button to retro fit launch, from suncoast
Nope, bolt-on an go. I don't see why it would be any different for the 997, but we can't speak for that platform. I bet the guys over at Dundon Motorsports might be able to answer that question for you though.
@@VerusEngineering I gave them a call and they had not done it on a 997.2. I went ahead and did it and it was plug and play. Works perfectly. I made a RU-vid video about too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xkIUZ_c-Nz4.html
Jarno Rossignol we have no reason to believe it would not work. It might be a different steering wheel, but I’m sure there is a paddle shifter wheel for the 987.1.
@@CoolClipsAnimations Not sure why it wouldn't. We ordered ours through suncoastparts.com, but obviously, check compatibility before purchasing because we can't say 100%.
