The all-new 2021 Porsche Turbo S is a tamed beast. It's got 640 horsepower, 60 more than before; it does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds or less, and runs mid-10's in the quarter. Thanks to AWD, four-wheel steering, torque vectoring, and superior chassis control, the handling and ride are sublime when going quickly. @Tanmay Jamwal that's why there's a GT3. Eventually, anyway. But I think Porsche is probably going to start hybridizing, first with the performance models. Sort of a shame, but then you consider what the 918 can do, as well as the Panamera e-hybrid.

I mean for sure not my favorite car. But my brain tells me that whatever the current gen 911 turbo is are just the best cars. All around I think it's just 90 percent or as good as anything else. If it isnt the best transmission it is a hair away from being so. If it isnt the fastest it is a hair away from being so. If the ride quality isnt the best it is negligible if another cars is better. And often times..... it is the best in various categories but there are 0 major shortcomings whereas many other cars that might be able to best it in certain areas have compromises

Another phenomenal review and run. Crazy cop story - you are funny bro! I also really appreciate your honesty on this car vs. the Carerra S....sounds like the little brother might be the way to go but then again if I had it, the rear end would say Turbo S. Is there even a difference on the Autobahn with these two, or are we splitting hairs by that point? Now this vs. a used 720S.....hmmmmmm......hmmmmm......that is a tough one. I wish you could habe tested this rocket on our Autobahn i.e. what it is built for. Despite heavy traffic during the week there is ample opportunity to drive it in its natural habitat of between 125 and 175mph on a daily basis.

Really good review, it brings something different to the other Turbo S reviews I’ve watched over the last few days; a real World appreciation of the merits of each of the 911 models, S, Turbo, Turbo S. The fact that it would be difficult to experience the difference legally, other than on a race track. But, the Turbo S is a magnificent beast.

He has a good point. I have a 981 Boxster S and sometimes behind the wheel in that I wonder how much more power I could really use or if it is going to just get me into trouble. Cars keep getting faster and faster but most of isn't necessary and not really usable. Their is something pleasant about being able to put the pedal all the way down and not be in danger of losing your license 3 seconds later.

So watching this led me on to reading the spec sheet, so the gearbox ratio short of reverse (3.96 in CS, 3.99 for turbos) is the same as the Carrera S and 4S, the final drive is what changed on the Turbo and Turbo S; specifically the rear axle from Carrera S/4S 3.39 to 3.02, the front axle ratio is the same between 4S and Turbos. Oh and the capacity is 3.745, sorry for the correction

Two things stuck out about this video for me. First off, when Matt went down to "normal" mode and drove the speed limit, it gave you an inkling of just how fast he's going during the rest of the drive. Second, is this the only One Take where he cops to getting pulled over? He's usually pretty mum about encounters with law enforcement in these videos, so that was a surprise. Great car, though. "Drives like a glove" as an old friend of mine used to say.

From what I’ve seen, a base Carrera would be great for learning how the car behaves, and since it has turbos, tuning will become available so you can turn up the power as you be some more competent. I’ve seen that Litchfield Motors takes them from 380hp, to over 500hp.
