Porsha spent the first half of season 9 trying to quiet the beef between Kandi and Phaedra, but it was primarily Kandi who was unreceptive. Porsha instinctively understood how messy things were about to get. After they started putting each other on blast, Porsha blurted out something on camera that she shouldn't have in an argument with Kandi, and it spiralled from there, but I honestly don't think Phaedra started or spread the rumor. Kandi is famously sexually liberated and into threesomes, and based on lawsuits filed a few years ago against one of Kandi's best friends and groupmates (and her husband), it seems the friend and groupmate is as well. Nobody believes the rumor about Kandi, but it is a case of guilt by association. Two plus two equals the rumor.
Nene was right. Porsha deserved discipline for what she did to Kandi. It was wrong and everyone just brushed it off because she played the poor little helpless victim. She should have been fired with Phaedra.

After her interview with Carlos King now I understand what she meant when she said “I helped you to stay here”. Apparently Porsha was on the chopping block after her first season and Nene and Kandi called the network and saved her because she was going through a divorce and needed the income from this show. Nene really did give her the bag she got, she owes her a lot. I think that’s why she also says Kandi had her back because she also advocated for her.

I honestly can't believe to this day the gall porsha had there was NO humility regarding what she did.
