When she was chasing the Jamie lady down the sidewalk at the Christmas party to attack her...flew into a rage. I recall earlier episodes of RHOA where Porsha's mom would be in a scene and the dynamics between the two of them always stood out to me. As to be expected, a mother should pour love and praise into her daughter. What I think was missing in their relationship, based on what was shown, was sound wisdom. It became clear by what was aired that Porsha needed to use her looks to provide a luxury lifestyle for both herself and her mother. I have seen this many times, where mothers are pushing their daughters towards any man in the hopes of a marriage or just a wedding. The praise and their self-worth is only based on looks. When your sole identity is your looks that's a lot of pressure to sustain and you limit yourself by denying opportunities for growth. This is enabled by society's obsession with looks. Pretty people are valued. But when they start to reveal "ugly" characteristics or start aging, eventually people start to walk away. Looks don't keep a man. And because your whole identity is based on what you look like, you are easily threatened by other women and you desperately try to cling to your beauty/youth. You believe you have nothing to offer. Obviously, I just went off on a tangent. Hahaha. But I do hope Porsha gets some healing and grows out of the immature behaviors and anger she has relied on. And receives revelation that she is worth a lot more than her looks.
