You just drop from ledge then do octoslash into the stage again. Gotta be pretty quick with it though so you don't go over or under the ledge. The input is down on left stick then up b almost immediately then hold right.

Thanks you two! You've got differing opinions on whether the jump is necessary. I wasn't able to make the octoslash look like this at 1/4 speed, without jumping, but it doesn't look like Ned is jumping in the video It goes 1) Flick movement stick to the opposite of stage and let go immediately. (You can also flick down, but I'm afraid of fast falling accidentally) 2) Short hop 3) Up b and hold directly right While I can now do the move somewhat consistently, I can also go too high and octoslash on stage, or too low and not grab the ledge. This is probably because of timing my short hop slightly wrong. I also still don't get for sure if the jump is necessary

@@marklabs4612 Im pretty consistent in my method ive tried the other and it just does not work for me cuz u will usually drop down too low

@@marklabs4612 oh btw ned does double jump, u can see the double jump circle under sephiroth before he does octo slash

Its hard to say he is top 3 in the world since there are no intercontinental tourneys right now... but historically, top 3 has always been NA representatives in Ultimate. So, basically we can say that Sparg0 IS top3 in the world, like 90% sure

Without wing, Sephiroth is high tier to me. He's got options and potential, but his lightweight and extremely linear attacks screw him over. Like I kid you not, if his Forward Air was like Ridley's or Mii Swordfigher's then it would not miss or get low profiled nearly as much. And seeing as his Forward Air is one of his main tools in neutral, that could help him so much.

I think seph is right in the middle of high tier

they used to say the same about byleth. Sephirot just needs one dedicated player (as ned) and people will see.
