The Port Adelaide Power is an AFL football club established in 1870, but formally joined the AFL in 1997 as the second team based in South Australia. Since then they have gone on to win 1 premiership, being the 2004 AFL Grand Final. The Power finished 11th on the AFL ladder in 2022 and they are looking like they are in a weakened position. The Power at their best are a finals side and at their worst are below mediocre. While they have definitely picked up some talent, who knows where they are headed in 2023.
