I was at that game, and my friend said let’s just leave we aren’t gonna win. And I said No we still can u never know, and then we watched and this happened and I was like “I TOLD YOU!”
i go for the crows but i have to say that, that was a great comeback by the power. Well done . and to the fans that were leaving, well, great support to your team
CoonBaboon this was a rlly bad game for the most of it. We almost had no chance of winning. The people who left were just sad and disappointed. Don't blame them. Anyway I bet you've done that before.
i did it before at the port and melborne game at the 2011 adelaide oval game because my dad was confused about transport. i was pissed off about it because i wanted to stay but my dad wanted to leave early because of transport and traffic.
For those that walked out when the Saints were 10 points up with under two minutes to go, they should be in a deep state of depression this morning. They pay big money to go to games in the hope of witnessing exactly the type of event that happened last night and instead look like complete fools for walking out on their team!
He's port's true hero, port were 18th in hit outs from stoppages last year and now they're like 2nd or something cause of Ryder. What an outstanding ruckman. And what a combo Ryder+Gray.
gnak2 Sam Gray being held in the goal square about 4 holding the balls in the last quarter that weren't paid to Port, the deliberate out of bounds, what a joke. Same for the Crows as well
Tom Bowes I was at that game because I’m a Power fan but when that last goal was kicked the crowd went super loud and I was cheering as well well obviously
I'm a Saints supporter who was at this game and couldn't believe it. It took until 2020 for me to see them win at AO. Twice in a row. but it only took recruiting Paddy Ryder and Dougal Howard.
I was staying at the west lakes resort for my mates 30th. Saw Membrey kick the goal to put saints up by 10 and left the room to go down and have a drink. When I walked out of the elevator and got a drink Young had scored. I had given up. I’ll never forget this game nor the setting.
ha i feel bad for the people that left. like there halfway across the foot bridge and then they hear the siren go and the loudest cheer in port history. haha lol they shoudnt of left
And, because it was Port, the people leaving was highlighted in the media all week! The next week, when Crows supporters were walking out at 3/4 time not a word was said!
