Port of Entry Ready for Immigration! | Pengasas Bay Ep 02 | Cities Skylines 2

Today we’ll be building our immigration district, named Gateway Village. This area will serve as the initial port of entry into our new city of Pengasas Bay, and all points beyond in the new continent of Gran Vanillica. On today’s build list are a passenger harbor, some specialized industries, a beautiful town plaza, and our very first train station. We’ll tackle detailing the space with a wide variety of plants and sidewalk applications that bring some elegance to the district.

I tend to rush when playing this game and then get bored so I've been trying to slow way down and actually put thought and detail into what and how I build my city, so seeing you do this gives me so much inspiration and shows that it works and pays off and looks so much nicer and put together. More like a real town/city rather than my unorganized blobs. Subscribed! Keep up the amazing work and inspiring people!

That looks great! I appreciate your eye for detail and your patience. Placing all those trees and bushes one at a time, must have taken forever! lol.. But it really paid off imo :)

Love the work! New subscriber here and can’t wait for more videos. Just a tip, and maybe you already know. But for the agriculture, the chicken symbol means livestock, and the carrots mean vegetable crops! The grain crops and vegetable crop industry buildings require that fertile agricultural land. However, the livestock option (Chicken symbol) can be placed any where you wish on the map, as they do not require that special resource!

Such a nice work with the esthetic of this town! I wish for a tool that lets you draw lines with threes and bushes where you can choose distance between them because doing all that manual placing of each bush like you did on the plaza takes ages.

you can tell you have old CS1 habits when building your roads 🙂 Keep up the good work, love your content. Love the use of pathways to make your harbour walls, better then the road in the water approach or the road on the side approach.

Love the build!! The only thing throwing me off is the port not being centered. It may be centered via asset size but the main building and entrance is off by 1 block. Check 13:38 for a good view of it. The sheds and entrance are shifted left 1 block compared to the 2 roads. My OCD was triggered a few times throughout the video lol

Just subscribed! You not ignoring to fill the woods behind Gateway village made it look 100% better, more realistic and cosier, also love that the main artery of this village is the train and not a huge highway (even though that connection still exists as it should)! Definitely would love to see you give a jab at making a low residential area/city/village maybe using the welfare office as a centerpiece, most people don't like to use them but I do prefer them to most other housing solutions where possible

But just to let you know the word you was looking for is migrating not immigrating because immigrating is the word used to say that people are ilegally going to a different country like without a passport, or on a boat so they cant see them or ask for their documents but i love your work this is absolutely no hate i am just telling you😁😀

Ha! In Australia we give immigrants (illegal or not) benefits, money, housing etc while our citzens (who actually work) cant afford homes or food. We have the dumbest politicians on earth...and that's saying something!
