I’ve now watched both of your Port Orleans Resort tours and I loved them both. As much as I think Riverside looks beautiful and is a top contender as our chosen Resort, French Quarter is tipping the scales for us. The smaller size of French Quarter and elevators in all the buildings are a big deal for us (we will be coming from the UK and will be exhausted by the time we get there 😅). ❤
Your reviews are great and thorough! Thanks so much! Though Riverside is huge, I think I liked your room there better! These looked dated, especially the bathroom. We're staying at Pop first then trying to decide between Riverside and FQ for our last full day as a wind down from the parks.
Thank you for this video! My family and I have stayed here around 8 times and it is our WDW home! We have stayed at other On and Off property accommodations but THIS is our favorite. It’s peaceful and convenient!! We haven’t been since the shutdown, almost a 1000 days…. But we will be arriving June 6, 2020! Great to watch this refresher!

Those are both my favorites! It really just depends on the vibes you want for your stay! If you want more of the New Orleans vibes, jazz, beignets, then French Quarter, plus the boat to Disney springs. If you want a lot of restaurants and bars, more Mexican vibe, a beachfront then Coronado. I will say, I personally think the tower feels like a deluxe resort, but the outside rooms are great as well! I'm so glad French Quarter is back open, we like to go there for the Mickey beignets. We prefer Riverside (Dixie Landings) to French Quarter, but FQ has better food. Shoutout to the late Russi Taylor (Minnie) in Totally Minnie! Great room with view. Love the outlet sitch, as always. So helpful!

@@Niallisababe1 When the resorts first reopened after the closures that was the case, but not anymore. If you want to park at a resort, then you need to have a reservation. But if you take a bus or boat, then you can visit here no problem!
To comment on the outlet sitch portion, just because I thought it was funny. As an electrician the code is to have an outlet within 6' from the door, and then every 12' until concluded back to said door. So the fact they put more in, was a choice, thus going above and beyond code. Just an FYI :P
1st time to visit WDW and we chose to stay to POFQ and fell in love! the property is so peaceful. The smell of the lobby is the most beautiful fragrant I have ever been. (Maybe because of the beignets) And the beignets are a must try!

Yes!!!! I’m really hoping now that Splash is being rethemed to Tiana we can get some Mickey beignets in magic kingdom like in Disneyland! It’s insane that we have to got all the way to this resort for them!
I’m from New Orleans, I love this resort. We’re staying here in September. We’ve also stayed at The Animal Kingdom Lodge, Caribbean Beach, Art of Animation and Destino Tower at Coronado Springs. Port Orleans is our favorite! Loved your video. Thanks!!!!!

We are coming from Australia in November and doing a split stay between Pop and POFQ. We actually chose POFQ because we love NOLA but also for the beignets 🤣 They are so easy to get at Disneyland in the parks, that I can’t believe that you need to go to a resort to get Mickey beignets at WDW !!!
