We stayed in Port Orleans this past February. Some of the Riverside rooms are dog friendly so I took my little Chihuahua and it worked out great. We loved it and he loved being with us.

Love how its updated, but still looks rustic. The washboard in the bathroom is a nice touch. Wow, Liam did a great job! 👍

Exactly it's good to see. A lot of their hotel room updates have leaned very heavy into the modern clean feel while losing the flavor of the resort. Glad to see that hasn't happened here

I've stayed at Dixie Landing/Port Orleans on 5 of my 7 visits to the World (Parterre Place twice, French Quarter #7, Magnolia Terrace, and Alligator Bayou #24 on my last visit there in 2010 (solo). I can definitely recommend this very large, but beautiful resort for the landscaping, architecture, and cast members. Oh yeah, and the water taxis to and from Disney Springs are a relaxing attraction in their own right, not just transportation. As an empty nest widower and now retired person with a limited nest egg, for my last visit to the World in 2017, I stayed at All Stars Movies, Sheriff Woody building. Still quite nice and for the price difference,I was able to add another day to the trip.

My family stayed here almost 20 years ago and it’s definitely changed from what I remember! I remember carpeted rooms and the beds were more like 4 posters with fake bamboo as the posts (or something close to that). The bedding was bayou themed back then as well I’m pretty sure, and not the standard Disney white.

Hi Josh, I absolutely love this resort. My husband and I vacationed there for 10 days for our One Year Anniversary (29 years ago). Back then it was Dixie Landings. Just love the feel there. Liam is just so cute and he did an amazing job helping you out Josh. I hope you are able to do more of these resort room vlogs or even just continue to do Resort hopping. They are just so fun. (And if I may, anytime at The Poly is always welcomed lol 😂 it is my favorite)

We just stayed on the French Quarter side and staying on Riverside side next month. Beautiful Resort and easy to walk back and forth between the 2. Nice boat transportation to Springs as well. Always great to see Liam! Thanks Josh!

Do all of the alligator bayou room’s have that fold down bed? Id prefer a dresser so we can actually unpack. Doesn’t seem like there is much storage. It seems like the magnolia bend rooms are the only ones that have a proper dresser.

Hi.. Thanks for the video. One question, does the bathroom has a door for privacy in the shower/toilet area?? I'm always seeing the curtain and never see a door.. I'm staying in December and my wife it's freeking out by this. Thanks in advance.
