Welcome to my NEW big adventure.
13 New or revisited railways visited over four weeks.
Some I bet you have never heard of.
We start off with the Portable railways..Woolsey's Miniature Railway.
This must be the most desired track layout being a circle..The only portable railway with this layout as far as I know.
We knew the guys were running near to where we were staying so it was a no brainer. We had to visit our friends. Always a good time with these guys.

This is a terrific (family) group and its so good to see them succeeding and giving a miniature railway experience to so many people. A good start to your project Chris.

Many thanks Alan. All the takings go to charity, the charity this time was one the campsite nominated. It is lovely to see these young guys doing something they enjoy for the good of others..Thanks for commenting..Regards Chris

This has to be the best portable railway setup I have ever seen. I see it’s all MRT track so some serious money outlay for the owners. I would certainly pay to have a ride especially as the takings go to charity. I wish them all the best and hope they raise a lot of money. All the best Dave D

Thank you for your kind comment Dave. God knows how much it cost to buy all the items of track,but the guys enjoy what they do. This is the first time the track had been set up as a circle. It has to be the way to go,much better than the up and back tracks..You must know the guys as they were always at Pentney? Best wishes Chris

Yes the lads have done a great job with the railway. All takings go to charity..This weekend it was for the campsite owners nominated charity....Nice to be home again....Best wishes Chris

We were lucky Simon, this is the first time it had been used so we wanted to see it in action..Lucky that we were in the area..This was the start of the weekend so quiet but loads of campers were booked in for the weekend...It needs plenty of room..Best to contact the boys and ask when out next.
