I use mine for cooking pasta soups and easy stews.Very good BUT I rarely let the cooker do a full cycle. This takes less power and avoids over cooking. I have learned the required time for my favorite meals.
Hey man, for cheaper coffee options, now a days Panera has a unlimited coffee(and possibly beverage of any sort) for $8/month subscription. I'm planning on getting it when and if I move into my van.
i have not tried any of that...what i am able to do is put 3 to 4 eggs on the tray, and after 2 to 3 miles while parked and cooking 2 cups of brown rice + 2.5 cups of water, I open to get soft boiled eggs. It takes 6 miles for me to cook rice while parked. After I get the eggs and at the 4th mile of cooking, I put in broccoli and mushrooms, sliced and enough to fit on top of the rice, then it cooks altogether just fine. I like coffee and tea, so I have been checking out some portable kettle. I think, the beans might work. I heat up sardines with garlic and onions with it.
Totally confused. How can rice be cooked in 20 minutes? Are you using instant? You must have GIANT hands if that holds 4 cups. Wish there was a link or something. Will try and find that thing Great if half of that is true
4 lil cups about 1/3 capacity of a regular 16oz and for brown rice takes 1 hour ... for white rice takes faster like 30 mins now that the cooker is old and worn
rice cookers usually come with a measuring cup that is 3/4 of a "official" cup. the cute little mini cup that comes with this unit is 40ml, which is 1/4 of a rice cooker cup (3/4 cup). so 4 little scoops of rice plus 4-5 scoops of water will make 1.5 cups of rice which is probably one serving for somebody who eats a lot of rice.
