Real talk, the fingers bleeding… remember those things you plug into your fingers in one of the slideshow pictures? Electrical shock from that could’ve easily caused that… that, or attaching hard enough that removal of it rips the skin. (Yes, I’m aware this comment is a joke)

@@sourcesauce not to be rude or anything, but the lore long story short is that we are in a fever dream of some sort because of the portaboy and now we need to fight to wake up because the monsters represent the cancer that is trying to kill our protagonist.

not to mention headaches, an nauseated when looking at this. this game has Polybius hidden in it.

Difficult indeed. Took me hours and hours to get all the way through it and I had to resist rage quitting on multiple occasions.

@@superdivorce Commendable, but I refuse to go through what you've been through. There are certain games where grinding is a moderately enjoyable experience, and this is *NOT* one such game. Especially since the beginning of the run involves both mini-game reflexes and keeping an eye out for those monsters in the background, and in the secret run, this expands to keeping an eye out for the "Easter Egg" entrypoints as well. Too many distractions can really mess you up a lot, even in real life.

I will admit, the grinding required to complete this game was anything but fun lol

weird. i got a 49 first try, died to that fish fight game. Tbh i think it just depends on rng. cuz the porta boys were barely spawning on my playthrough.

Pay close attention to the bottom of the screen after the entry points start showing up. You'll see the pink/black box flash for a second at a time and that's where you have to send the cow.

@@Josuh You will have to see the building above the wall, on top of the screen. There should be the windows having a pink color. Depending on which ones are pink, it'll mean that one of the bomb has to be touched instead of avoided.

The coordinates that flash during the Perfect Treasure game are used in the Pet Search. As you move your mouse while searching for the pets, pay attention to the top right corner of the screen. That's where you'll see the coordinates you're currently hovering over displayed.

Pretty sure that’s not what happened. It looks like he was trapped in the game and finally escaped.

Player gets caught up in some sort of crypto thing by Portaco that involves brain uploading to get more money and play Portaboy games… the thing is, said brain uploading also does stuff like cause a sort of cancer in you as you play the Portaboy games in your coma (with the glitches happening as your cancer gets worse). The entire game is a fever coma dream where your character fights to break out of the Portaboy’s system and brain uploading program before the cancer from losing the games kills you (with the monsters attacking you serving as representations of that cancer)… in the secret ending, you wake up back in reality.

I have no idea what happened, but I'll tell you my theory. PortaCo is supposed to be manipulating a lot of people with that portable console and has manipulated the entire economy of the world. And as for the secret ending; the console has manipulated the player, hallucinating that monsters appear there to kill him, but when he managed to escape from that terrible mental purgatory, and when he woke up... Well... He murdered his family.

@@clonedbraixen …Actually, no, not quite. Remember those score pictures and the vitals thing? Those actually illustrate that Portaco made a brain uploading program that involves the usage of Portaboy consoles in order to obtain money (likely through crypto means)… and you log in by lying in a bed with a life support system (for IV feeding, likely) and hooking your nerves up to the system. …The thing is, the program/machine has side effects: a sort of cancer will start to appear in your cells, as shown by some of the slideshow pictures and one of the treasure screens, where it mentions cellular reproduction rate. That, and logging out of the system isn’t as easy as you think: the Portaboy won’t let you. So as the cancer from playing the Portaboy worsens, the games start to glitch, and monsters (representing that cancer trying to kill you if the damage is anything to go by) resembling Portaboys start to attack you. The shotgun is basically your mind’s means of defending itself, while you fight to break out of the system by finding the vulnerabilities in the Portaboy’s programming (the treasures). With the ending, you’re back in reality, having broken out of the system and having fried the circuits in the neural connectors on your fingers, represented by the blood on them.

The player is in a coma caused by the brain uploading program produced by Portaco, which also serves the purpose of granting you money as you play their games. Another side effect from the program is that some of your cells actively become cancerous as you lose the games/get attacked by the monsters. Your character has to find vulnerabilities in the Portaboy’s programming in order to break out of the program and stop the cancer, with you waking up in reality showing that you’ve finally broken out of the system.
