Splendid pictorial! I just love the panning. The comparing of the old to the recent ( not so recent as the Salvatory building was demolished just the other day). There is a lot about Trinidad ( and Tobago) to love and be proud of. We are not a melting pot. Not a Palau. But rather an extended buffet of different DELIGHTFUL dishes. Where different races can live together in peace and harmony. However, this can only be achieved once respect for law and order is maintained, as in all societies.

Thank you for this, My children visit home Trinidad, and they love it, they off course only know the modern Trinidad. This helped my daughter, in so many ways. But the most wonderful thing to her, was that She attended Howard University in Washington DC and Graduate with a 4.0. And even more was Dr Eric Williams was once a Professor there, and later became the father our Nation, though my children are were born and live in the States. They love Trinidad and consider it their home too.

Portrait of Trinidad. Beautiful photos, but no information on the date/year of the photos and scant or no information on the photos. Therefore, people all over the world looking at this really have no sense of the era these photos relates to. Thank you for sharing it. Please , please do it again with dates.

Having stumbled upon this, I thought it would be easy to find it again. Not so, as you spelt 'Portrait' with only one 'r'. All told, not bad this.
