I can just imagine what would happen if someone with a lot more time and dedication polished a concept like that... Shooting the sun instead of the moon at the end, swapping GLaDOS and Wheatley, even something simple like flipping the colors of the portals from the portal gun.
He also mentioned swapping turrets with defective ones, he said it wouldn't change much, but i think it would be really funny if you had to replace a defective template turret with a functional one in turret sabotage
-Play as a guy -Everything happens in a dream (instead of waking up) -walls swap portalability -black walls act like portals, and portals act like walls -gravity is upside -turrets are healing and chell is constantly dying (instead of regenerating)
i always keep checking on this guy to see if he's posted anything and i swear everytime he has i just get hyped up to wait until the night to go to bed and watch his vids before i go to sleep, i dont know how or why i like doing that, but for some reason its a lot of fun
oh hi. this is mostly just a black slide for a sharp cut, but you decided to pause the video and find these frames just so you could read this text. that's cool,ig. so uh, nice.. weather, eh? how- how's the wife? the kids? you know, since you noticed this and spent the time to pause the video, you're probably invested enough to justify subscribing to the channel. think about it. just saying.
hey! unsurprisingly, this wouldn’t be the first time i’ve heard this idea. by far. i’m simply not interested in it, so please keep it at “day 1” and let’s not spam the comments ;)
try these right after picking up the portal gun: ent_fire prop_portal addoutput "portaltwo 1" ent_fire weapon_portalgun addoutput "canfireportal1 0" ent_fire weapon_portalgun addoutput "canfireportal2 1"
@@PortalRunner That'd probably work, however it'd unfortunately break things because the game would assume the player's got the blue portal, rather than the orange one.
@@masteroftheinternetverse1296 it really wouldn’t, no. what “assuming” are you talking about? portal linkage wouldn’t change, and the first command ensures the swapping of all other portals
@@PortalRunner Oh. I tried it, and it unfortunately didn't work, although that's maybe because the orange portal was already open? I'll have to do some more investigating on this.
if you have a firewall or antivirus, try disabling that. spplice isn’t a virus, but some programs are more cautious than they have to be. also please stop spamming this under every video - i saw it the first time.
One time I looked into chat I saw someone talk Latvian (I'm Latvian) 17:04 A person asked ko tu domā par savu valodu (what do you think about your language)
@@PortalRunner Hmm... I'm still annoyed with Portal: Revolution for turning it off. That said, been a subscriber for too long and love the videos. Can I suggest one?
Okay, I'm a bit late, but... to answer both of your questions: 1. There are three* main types of gel: - The blue one, Repulsion Gel, makes you and other things bounce off of it and increases your jump height - The orange one, Propulsion Gel, makes objects slide and increases your ground speed - The white one, Conversion Gel, converts walls into portalable surfaces. Not all walls can hold a portal - only white ones can, or those coated with this gel * There's also water, which just removes all gel from a surface. 2. The cube you see in the lategame is something Wheatley (the blue-eyed orb) creates while in control of the facility - most of us just call it a Frankencube. It's the mix of a turret's legs and a cube's weight, allowing it to walk... everywhere but onto the button.
