I don't even understand what happened.

Y'know, I don't mind people going through glitches for speed runs. The fact that people have to "find" these glitches is where the hard work is put in. Not to mention getting them all right in one run.

I was following for like... 20 seconds. Then something happened and... I don't know

After watching this i feel that dumb i don't even know if i'm carrying out basic daily activities correctly anymore, i'd bet my months wages this guy can wash his hands in 1/1000th of the time it takes me and still get better results. There is literally nothing you can say that will convince me otherwise so don't even try.

I feel like giving the player control over both portals was a very grave mistake on GLaDOS' part.

Somehow I stumbled upon this over the internet. Even though it has been close to 7 months since the posting of this video, and I've never even played portal before, but it looks impressive, even if I didn't know what was going on half the time. Even a complete outsider like me can appreciated hard work, finesse, and creativity. Cool video!

I just did my first "speedrun" of Portal and got 42:25. I felt like I did decent. But then I looked up the world record and now I know I didn't do good at all. :d

He did use mods/hacks but it was only to get his logo on the portal gun

Speedruns may cover a whole game or a selected part (such as a single level) and may impose additional requirements beyond quick completion." Long story short, COMPLETING THE GAME AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE THROUGH ANY MEANS NECESSARY This is most likely an Any% category which is where you use any method to reach the end as possible It is not 'cheating' because it is in the original source code for this patch of the game, thereby being 'glitches' which are allowed There are glitchless runs for a lot of games where you can watch a normal playthrough, where you can also stop bothering the runner of the game if you don't like speedrunning or think this is cheating, please do your research first Thank you :)
