You bring up something that reminds me... we should talk about bridge and finger ports. I've experimented with them quite a bit with various results. On our next phone call, my friend. Terrific work. I absolutely love watching you grow and I absolutely agree- there's always something to learn from each other. I think that's the best part of your channel is your willingness to help others learn- me included!!!
Europe had the 500i for more than a year before the states got them. When I bought mine, it was already the dealer's last one. I will say, the Husky 572 is probably the best saw on the market, bang for the buck.
@Top Dog Obedience I agree. The anti vibe on Husqvarna’s is so much nicer than Stihl and if people are complaining about the weight maybe a 70cc saw is to much for them anyway.
You are my favorote saw channel because you are real and relateable.and u are right, when i have to pull out my 660 clone amd redmax7000 to cut big wood, weight.isnt really.an issue.if anything, the weigjt.of the 660 is a Postive as it really helps the saw.sink into the cut.i love that you are.proving you dont have to spemd BIG $ to have really nice saws.i wish you the best amd look forward toseeing you climb the ranks of two stroke gearheads.ialso really hope you can build me a saw in the future.
Echo has chocked it back to offer a 5 year warranty,!! Love your explanation!! In the cut at 12;500 is bad to the bone!! Rambling doesn’t bother me. I’m the King of Ramble!!
Soft Hands Steve is at it again! He had a few palpitations in this one. Lol! Just picked up an Echo 4910. Pretty much because of the Thunder Kitten. Did a base gasket delete after about 5 tanks through it. I will run it like that for a little while and then go on to porting it. Thanks for your time Boedy! Love the Woodsman Whackoffs!
Yes, it is an EXTREMELY nice saw, no doubt. But I'm with Randy on this. If you port and pipe that Stihl, it now becomes a $2,000 saw. My only beef with the 500i is the price. It's unreasonably high. The 592xp is better IMO and costs $200 less. All that said though...the 500i is effing NICE!
Dude I modify anything and everything I own always will. You could say things are breathing good around here. First video I’ve seen of yours but I enjoyed your mind set regardless of you being on fuk the 500i tip. I have the nastiest 500i in The Lone Star State bud but I like other companies and will run anything that gots balls. I can also go to three stores within 10 miles that all have 500i’s for $1379… Shit I think I’m gonna buy one and see if I can make a couple hundred by sending them to some fanboy somewhere lol. #Subscribed
I love the rambles. I’m not big on going backwards on channels. I’m going back and checking it out. Keep them coming. !! You don’t understand modifying your out of the loop 😂🤣😂🤣That’s rite .!!!! Kindness is changing the world 🌎 ❤️🔥🦾☀️
Moin 👋 Impressive result on the 7310! Do you worked on the port covers? I love my 7310. All of my ECHO saws! Stihl is only one brand of good and professional saws. If the shipping costs and taxes were not so high, I would have my saws ported. That's how I have to and want to learn it myself. Then I also learn what works and what doesn't. Thank you for sharing knowledge! 💪💪👍 Greetings 🤜🌳🌲🪵🤛
Look out mamma theres a big grey boat comin up the river , its got a big blak beacon a flag and man on the rail , i think you better call john cause it dont look like theyre here to deliver the mail
@@novicelumberjack frankly..so am I... All I wanted to know was where the "all aboard" clip went that starts the whack offs. Somehow mamma got involved .. 🤷🏽♂️
@@novicelumberjack Sorry , the nice person seemed to be at a loss so i thought id fill in the void 😅 didnt mean to controversy . Love your show man its top tier 🌻
You. You made mention of shiny exhaust making no difference. It confirmed everything I was already thinking. In this world, polished means smooth, not mirrored. The mirrored effect is just like a shiny luer used to draw in unsuspecting fish. While it is nice, anything past 400 grit is purely just for astetics to show off for the customer. Hell, maybe anything past 220 grit. 220 can get REALLY smooth.
@The Novice Lumberjack the ironhorse mentioned that after you run the saw and get a little carbon buildup in the exhaust port a shiny polish will be no different from smooth but unpolished
@@novicelumberjack well that makes me blush some. I was told that by iron horse around a year ago I think on a WhatsApp talk I asked him why do guys go thru the effort of making a glass finish..and he explained it all in his logic
Don't stick up with a steel now and make excuses to me I think those stills are nothing but a homeowners so and that right there just proved it when it just got spanked I'll take my husky 372 XP all day over that pretty sad the price tag you pay for that saw for that still and it gets beat buy a homeowner saw that proves that that saw is the low totem pole saw
