Thanks for using my piano remake TT_TT I didn't listen to this for a long time and it really have me shivers again. And then I heared that my remake was played in the end ^^
He pretty much just Bass boosted the song, which in a party or big event, would probably be better, but in the process it crushes the mid-range of the song and for headphones isn't really what you're looking for. The ending was nice tho.
Simply adding bass doesn't make a track more suitable for a party. Especially considering that there's literally a couple for kilowatts if not close to a 100 kilowatts of power being supplied to the Subs. Just look at any live clips of Shelter being played Live and you'll notice the original master has plenty of sub-frequencies to shake up a room.
@phamkhanhkevin it's sad to see years pass because you know u had so much fun like the time when u first joined school meeting new people but as years go on them Is memories becomes silent in your head and it's just sad I loved all my years since I been alive
This version is perfectly what I’m looking for!! The ending with the piano is just… beautiful✨. Perfection👌. Thank you so much for this wonderful remix🙏
Thanks for doing this versión! I love this song but the original version sounds with the piano at the end but also the voice of the girl, thank you very much for doing this version!! Really really apreciate :) :) :)
This version doesn't sound "higher" quality, just sounds more like generic EDM mastering. Porters style of mastering, as seen in his entire worlds album as well as shelter (madeon shares a similar mastering style to porter too), is extremely different from normal EDM mastering and in my opinion gives it more life and texture than most other electronic music. To me this version just dumbs it down a little bit and isn't as good, but thats just subjective.
Yes! you right, youtube limit audio quality is 125kbps so i think the "audio quality" is the same and of course it also depends on the quality of input. But i feel this "mastering or whatever" is really good(very clean on my headphones, good bass, vocal and the nice ending piano than original video).
I have to say that I definitely prefer Porter's mastering better, although anyone's experience with how the mastering sounds is going to depend on how they're listening to it, to an extent. I'm listening with ATH M50Xs, and the difference between vocals in the two versions is phenomenal. I don't think I appreciated how clearly and beautifully Porter mastered the vocals in the original until I heard them drowned out by shit loads of unnecessary low end in this version.
LOL No RU-vid's limit on audio quality is not 125kbps wow. You really must not know anything about music at all to think that. Try going and actually listening to a 125kbps song (which by the way you probably won't find because they generally come in 128, 256, and 320. Not 125) and then tell me that it's 125kbps lmao. That is just literally the dumbest thing I think I've heard someone say on RU-vid. The highest quality on RU-vid is at least 256kbps if not 320kbps. Not lossless but definitely not 125.
Oh, my you saved me so much time I'm planning to extract the piano version and combine it to the last part so I will get the no voice over version... Thank you so much Your name will be on the details of the audio that I'm going to make for my personal playlist.
Its an audio difference if you are into music production you can hear a clear difference I don’t get why anyone would remaster shelter because its perfect but yeah...
If you google "Shelter Story" you find this, "The film follows 17-year-old Rin (voiced by Sachika Misawa) who lives alone inside a futuristic simulation. She maintains control of the simulation and the virtual world around her through a tablet on which she can draw scenes that the world around her will then create in a three-dimensional environment."
For those who don't know, here's what the message she opens in the end means: It's been a lot since you were born. No matter how much I gave to you after my mother passed away, I think my father was able to realize when he saw how healthy I was. I really wish I could have gone with you, but that wasn't possible. I forgot everything and moved on, knowing you would be okay. Once you know what loneliness feels like, you will remember it. I believe you will become stronger and complete this sentence. I wish we could have made more memories, I'm sorry but I guess I didn't quite understand it when I was little. The leaves of that day once again.
Idk , i just put it here cuz i'm too lazy too find it again every time i hear this . '-') i could never find the right way to tell you have you noticed i've been gone? cause i left behind the home that you made me but i will carry it along mm it's a long way forward so trust in me i'll give them shelter like you've done for me and i know i'm not alone you'll be watching over us until you're gone when i'm older i'll be silent beside you I know that words are not enough and they won't need to know our names or our faces but they will carry on for us
Because someone butchered a perfect song by trying to remaster it if you want to hear the beautiful song and see the beautiful video I’d recommend just going to the original song on the real artists account
yes and so did everyone on earth jupiter crashed into earth and the dad built a machine so that the she could live in a virtual reality world and possibly live forever
This remaster is in a word, shit. During the verses, compression is happening where none needs to take place. The drums during the chorus duck the volume of the instruments so much, that it actually sounds QUIETER than the verses. You can very clearly hear the tail end of the snare getting louder and forming a transient due to how overcompressed it is. This remaster is an insult to the original material, and is not HD in the slightest.
