😢😢😢😢 I knew a man who lost his wife and daughter to a rogue wave. Dozens of people were caught in it. The man jumped in and started saving people frantically trying to find his wife and child. He was labeled a hero for how many people he saved. He never found his wife and child though. 😭😢
Yeah when I went to Washington the ocean was super spooky to me coming from Florida. Like prehistoric rocks and cold water... looks like a good place to die a horrific death lol. Absolutely beautiful though nonetheless
you live there. you're well aware of the constant changing state of the ocean there, esp at that time of year. other people have been swept away in previous years. you know the dangers. people come from all over to take pictures & view the monster waves. the national weather service even issued warnings about the extra high strong far reaching waves during that time.....& yet you thought it was a good idea to go there with your 2 babies. its like deciding to go out on your boat with a storm in the forecast. what are you thinking?! omg, what a horrible tragedy. please parents, always decide on the side of caution with your children.
Who in the world Takes their young children to the coast to watch king Then allows them to die as you are safe. Please charge this man just as idiots who leave their children in hot cars are charged.
@@KuninKat it's horrible but people are bringing up good points look at the person speaking at the end he is even saying that by coming out here in this really bad weather you're also putting rescuers life in danger as well. No place for kids.

I live in Salem Oregon and my friends, family and co-workers are heart broken about this and have nothing but love to send to your family .
What heck is people bringing their small children in such dangerous areas. It's called get a babysitter and leave the small children BEHIND. People used to have common sense and when you don't have common sense in you make examples out of people he should be charged with child endangerment because that's exactly what it is that you bleeding hearts out there too much safety gear the stupid get to survive too long

From the videos I have seen people should have child endangerment charges! people think small children need to be playing on a Beach during a storm? Society has got the bad habit of thinking everybody wants to see their freaking kid everywhere as a babysitter for but they can't even do that anymore
These were my cousins and I'm devastated people who r saying he should go to jail have no empathy it wasn't his fault he didn't know a sneaker wave was gonna hit them this all could of had been prevented if their where coast Guard jobs! 😭🙏
Oregon coast needs coast watchers for beaches or close them,this could have been avoided,inlanders die every year i have seen people die getting washed off newport jetty.some watchers at least during storms.

Maybe set up the fund to help the family instead of "crime investigation". Have some decency. Unless of course you yourself don't have kids, then one simply wouldn't be able to understand.
Why reward stupidity? We've taken our girls to the Oregon coast lots of times when they were younger & always put their safety first. Common sense is be aware of the ocean, it can be deadly.

Undertow. That's why you dont get in above your knees when the tides are active. We lose more people and cars because the ocean comes in in sneaky ways sometimes.
