Isn't it stunning?? something so different than what i've ever felt before!! similar to a suede but not suede - it wears very well too!! like i don't fear the fabric of the merlot like i would a normal suede!! Thank you so much, i'm so happy you found it helpful!! :)

But again, these bags are hard to narrow a color because all of their colors are just so gorgeous!! I love those mystery bundles or boxes - I get a fabfitfun box quarterly and it’s like you have an idea of what’s coming but not exactly so it’s literally like sending yourself a present!! ​@@teresalara7126 Yes, I would love to hear what you end up getting in the mystery box. What do you think of the nutmeg in the mini crossbody style? I was debating between cognac and nutmeg but ultimately went for the cognac, even though i already have a small zipper tote in the cognac color. I love the soft slouchy look of the pebbled leather in the larger tote bag style, but I wasn't sure how it would look in the smaller more structured style of the mini crossbody.

Both gorgeous colors!! I don’t always gravitate towards blue, but I honestly love their bluebell color - I think it’d be beautiful in the crossbody! I’m thinking of getting one in the papaya color! I can’t wait to hear what you think - I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, the cognac is beautiful!

how do you love that color?? i've almost purchased the sunflower color multiple times because I love it so much! is it as yellow in person? i love that in some photos it really looks like a vibrant yellow! I love the mini cross body and love the crossbody - and they just came out with a zippered option for the crossbody, so my wallet may be in trouble...

@@GirlinPursesuit It’s sort of like a yellow honey color, it appears more yellow/golden now that the weather is more overcast. I think it’s such a nice pop of color. Yellow is my favorite color so I’m biased though.

Thank you so much!! So I have not had a crossbody tote with the zipper option yet, so I appreciate you telling me this info! I’m considering the sunflower color one!! So I do not feel like it’s difficult or stiff with the no zipper option! I think you’ll also be able to open the bag nice and wide without the zipper. I really love a zipper for security purposes as well, but I’ve never had anything fall out of my bag!! I hope that helps!!

You’re going to love these bags!! So I ended up selling my larger CB in the merlot color, because I am really eyeing either dune or sunflower! Just haven’t executed yet! But it’s been nearly two years with my mini CB and it’s as beautiful today as it was when I first got it - prettier, even, because the leather just ages so well!! I really hope you enjoy them!! ☺️

Decisions, decisions 🤔 I think the papaya feels like more of a spring/summer color whereas the honey I think has enough darker tones in it that it’s good year round and just has a classic look...this is just my humble opinion of course 😉 I like the idea of the mystery tote but I hate to be out close to $100 with shipping and get something that I don’t care for. You know what else I am watching for...I read they are trying to bring grizzly back( the color in their ad picture) and I absolutely love that and would for sure love one of those. Lots to consider for sure 😄

Absolutely!! My norm is a bag insert is from Amazon, but the medium size is a bit too small for the mini. I found this one which should fit! Katherine Hi Katherine! I’ve not experienced issues with the corners of either bag; however, I will say that if you’re unhappy with your bag for any reason, the PLG customer service is bar none the best I’ve dealt with! Very responsive and super helpful when I’ve had any questions!

Girl in Pursesuit Great- thank you for letting me know! My goal in getting a new handbag was that is was made in America. Mexico is better then China. PLG states some items are made in USA others made in Mexico- I was hoping the bags were made in USA- I also have a bag coming from Go Forth Goods- they are definitely made in American, leather is sourced and tanned in America too then crafted by 5 guys in Marietta Georgia!! Can’t wait to compare both!!

Katherine PLG used to be exclusively all made in America, but they recently built a new facility in Mexico because of the quantity of orders. But I totally understand what you mean! I’ve heard amazing things about Go Forth Goods, and I’ve checked their site out - beautiful bags! I recently found a smaller company in Colorado called Cinderella Ranch Boutique - their bags are all handmade as well! I’ve recently contacted the company asking further questions, and I’ll ask about where the products are made (USA or outsourced). I’m doing a video on a wallet/crossbody combo I bought from them this week - I’m really impressed with it! Would love to hear your thoughts when you’re able to compare the PLG and go forth goods bags! 😊

It is a concern, but I find that the snap does at least help; however, PLG just released, not long ago, a zippered version of the medium transport tote! so if you do want that bag but with a zipper for more security, the option is now available! :)

@@GirlinPursesuit I really like the size and shape of the mini cross-body. If I'm going to carry a tote that big, I'll do a backpack for weight distribution. Thanks for your candid reply. I will wait until they get a zip version of the mini-crossbody. I can't be the only person wanting an upgrade on this aspect of the design. Or, I'll be forced to stick to my 2020 resolution and save a few bucks here.

@@janishaldeman3339 I completely understand! Have you checked out their circle crossbody bags? That might be a size that's preferable, and it does have that zipper. I agree with you, you're likely not the only person and they might just surprise you with a mini with a zipper. I find that emailing their customer service is really helpful - I had actually touched base with them about the zipper & the medium transport tote and they had informed me that one was in the works. They might surprise you by saying a mini transport tote is in the works, even if not, at least someone else has put it on their radar! Crossing my fingers one comes out for you!

I hope someone is able to answer this for you! I will say that the merlot has an almost suede-like finish. It's not suede but similar to? I believe the the finish on this one and some of the darker blue colors is different from the rest of the PLG colors!

@@gigicolada it's such a pretty color, and it's a really good, durable bag! this was my moving bag, and I took it everywhere between both houses and it just did so well! I stuffed it full, and, admittedly, wasn't very kind in my carrying during that time. That to me is a real test of a bag! :) I hope whichever you choose, you love!

I bought the red mini-tote. I dithered between red and brown, and I am so glad that I went with the red one. Even my husband, who usually would not notice if I were carrying a paper bag, said that he can’t take his eyes of of it. I also want to say that it is perfectly convenient - not too heavy, not too many pockets, and the “bar” for keys or sunglasses means that I can hang several bunches of keys at a time. When I am carrying this bag, I don’t even notice it (although everybody else does), but it is just helpfully there. If you choose one - would it be the pink? - I would love to hear what you say about it. I think that there’s a 15% discount with the code HELLOKMM (not sure about caps), and they regularly have sales for 20% and 25% off. I wish you well on your move.

Absolutely!! The "mini" in the name is so deceiving, this bag truly packs a good amount! AND PLG is now releasing a zippered version of the mini - at the time of this video, that was not even a thought!! so excited!! :)

@@tesssilba9078 No problem!! So the second question is tricky, because I go in "phases" meaning, I have times where I prefer to carry more, other times I like to carry less. While the mini carries a lot, it won't hold my laptop which I like to carry sometimes. So that honestly just depends on you, your mood, and what you like to carry. I love both, and I have use for both depending on my "phase." I will say - the medium is nice in that you can carry less but still have space available in case there's a day where you need to pack more. I hope that helps!!
