Yeah, I spent 3 hours cleaning up Broughton Beach this morning. Thankfully, people came to help, what a mess! People swimming in the river this morning said the river was full of fireworks and they saw me cleaning, so they came to help clean.
This didn't happen in TN where I'm from It's even drier and hotter over there and they still had a huge huge show in Nashville Portland is just soft af
This one should be different! It's filled with liberals. Aren't they the group that banned plastic bags and even straws to 'SAVE THE PLANET'? Now we all can see how little they care about it. Everything they do is all about control! (but it was obvious when the streets were filled with used face masks)

This is portland oregon, why would you expect anything else?.90 percent of the city are people not from here. Our town used to be cool, now it's just a haven for people who don't care for anything but themselves. 😢
Why would people adhere to a fireworks ban when there is no enforcement? Anyway, by the time the huge shells I hear all over town go off, it"s not like you can tell who did it.
When I saw this story I just thought they were talking about all the trash that has been in Portland since 2018? All the trash that is walking around and also working in government.
After any event those that supported and sponcers use to routinely organize staff snd organized volunteer groups to pickup up grounds. Even contract for cleanup.
They should rethink their trash cans outdoor design maybe something a little bit larger and with the ability to roll out the bottom , when it's full almost like a large shopping cart size
Look at all the hours of work it creates whitch to me means jobs. You know they’re are going to use it, plan to clean it. It’s not Vegas new years and they can clean that up quick. Create jobs not more complaining
