Wonderful review Pam! ❤️❤️❤️ The shirt really fits the scent! Always loved the opening of this one. The drydown is a bit plain on my skin though. Kind of prefer Eau Capitale from Dyptique, but there's a fragrance by Al Haramain called Floral Sculpture that's apparently pretty close minus the spices, so I'm thinking of picking that one up as a good middle ground.

Portrait of a Lady is the best fragrance ever. Heads down.

Thank you for this review! I agree with you regarding POAL. It is clearly a well-made and respectable perfume, but unfortunately I find it unapproachable. I can never truly get lost in it. It's kind of like when you are watching a movie and you keep noticing the actor instead of the character that they are trying to portray. It's grand, but I can't get close. I guess it's just not me.

My husband just came home with a bottle of POAL for me......I love love love it ..addictive ! I just keep smelling it ..the dry down on me is beautiful...a warm intoxicating....rose patchouli with incense ...exotic !
