1/1000 shutter speed won't let you use any basic flash, you'll need a flash that supports HSS. Otherwise, good and easily understandable video, thanks!

true, however you can get a HSS flash for $65 - so I guess I need to say low cost flash instead of basic! LOL

a lot of times when you say "look at me" they move their entire face, I didn't want to move her chin, just her eyes. :-)

if only i had an assistant who could carry a diffuser light for me. i could barely hold a reflector by myself. im so paranoid someone is just gonna steal my stuff if i leave my bag on the ground.

This seemed to be useless and way to much acting on your part. Me 25 years started in films days. To start with what was your camera ? was it a crop sensor or full frame makes huge difference. What lens as in focal length did U use ( me 85mm go to) What was your camera settings and did U consider shallow DOF. What was your light settings. This isn't teaching!!

@anthonypaladino1006 😂😂this comment is so ridiculous … did you even actually watch the video??! Scott gave all his settings & lens focal length along with flash power setting & umbrella size along w/placement as to distance from the model. FF or crop cam body doesn’t matter either, settings still apply to both
