it must be great seeing them so close up. ravens are very wild here in the uk. they were almost entirely wiped out in victorian times like every other animal that had the cheek to prey on game birds, but their population has bounced back over the last 20 years and they have spread over england again. you can see them flying over all the time now, and making their lovely cronks, but you wont ever see one close up. maybe they will lose their fear of humans in time but might not, as they are decended from the wildest ravens that survived the guns and traps
You Brits are certainly great at killing things!!!!! We should give you more credit for that. You’ve been doing it far longer than we Americans have, but sadly we have killed off our fair share of native bird species too. That said, ravens are great birds. I have tremendous respect for their intelligence.
Hey There! It's your piano tuner here. Wanted to let you know how much I've been enjoying your videos on TikTok and now this very cool slide show of your raven pictures. Your artistry extends beyond the keys, very much so.
Thank you SO VERY MUCH. Ravens, big crows, are my heart, hard to explain, goes back deep somewhere ancient, can see you're the same. Used to commune with ravens off West Wales (Britain) coast, near magical stones (built on crystal there), but now in different location (tho got the big crows at least, which in UK are almost identical - our 'crows' vary either side of Atlantic). Having raven feathers, statues, photos, not quite the same, but your pictures are WONDERFUL. And so glad you've focused throughout on their faces and those mesmerising eyes... Thank you again. I will treasure these images ❤
Thank You so much for your thoughtful comment. I find these birds so fascinating and highly intelligent. They have such soulful eyes! Thanks for watching and enjoying the ravens. 🐦⬛
OMG! The Algorithm (I call it "TA") put your video in my matrix tonight, @Kitten on The Keys, and I'm *so* glad TA did! I first saw you perform in 2005 at Tiki Oasis in Palm Springs. Then a few more times in S.F. and heard your name come up in unexpected places (E.g, the noir movie program "Cheese Theatre" on Marin Cable TV) Now THIS. There is SO much talent bottled up in you! You go, girl. 👍🏼
Sandy! Wow- crazy small world! I love Tiki Oasis- that was my first time in Palm Springs and saw a road runner! Thank you for watching my latest fun hobby of nature walks! Have a great week!
