Jumped on a train from Belfast to Portrush, Northern Ireland. Portrush is a seaside resort town and I was there during the off-season. I kinda equate it with Jersey Shore or Coney Island. Since it was the off-season there was no wait to see anything, downside is there wasn't really much going on to go see.
This video is a quick highlight of the thing I saw and did in Portrush. Portrush is home to the Royal Portrush Golf Club, the only golf club outside Great Britain which has hosted The Open Championship in 1951 and 2019.

The pleasure was all ours. Northern Ireland is such a beautiful place. Can't wait to visit again.

Northern Ireland has the UK Monarch as it's head of state. A very large community in Northern Ireland would disagree with you that they are not fans of the monarch. Most of the shops in England didn't close either on that particular day. Go figure.

I can only speak to my experience. Most of the folks I talked to were not fond of the crown.

Yeah to be honest with you a lot of protestants are sick of the monarchy. I think everyone is atp. 😂

Yes. Huge amounts of people in Northern Ireland and Portrush were very fond of Queen Elizabeth 2. This is a very inaccurate statement.

THE DOLPHIN TAKEAWAY IS THE ONLY PLACE FOR FISH AND CHIPS (but I prefer Cowboy Suppers with Sausages in Batter - 20p extra).

Didn't get a chance to try the Cowboy Supper with Sausages in Batter, but it does sound tasty. I really enjoyed my time in Northern Ireland and look forward to possibly going back in the near future. What stuff do you recommend I see and taste?
