Best performance I’ve seen from Pompey in many years. Bolton are a quality side and the big difference was our aggression. Hi Tom, as always another fantastic video They let me out of hospital yesterday afternoon, I wish they had kept me in now hahaha. How Dion Charles missed that open goal at 0-0 I will never no. But having said that Portsmouth deserved the win...Bolton just didn't get into there stride, but Massive credit to Portsmouth as they didn't give Bolton any chance of getting into any rhythm. I learnt a few things. One, is that this really is a special team and it's now definitely developing in to a great season, I truly believe now. Two, that Gavin Whyte does have a role here. Three, Sean Raggett is growing, yet again. So reliable. Four, there were literally NO weak areas last night. But also, after 51 years on planet earth, you Tom taught me a new word...equanimity!!! 👏🤣 Bravo young man! Play Up Pompey!

Hey Tom and Andrew. It just keeps getting better. After seeing Pompey ripping Northampton spart last week , i thought we might struggle against a very strong Bolton side. They dont concede and score goals for fun. Why was i worried? Correct call by the mous to include morrell. Despite paddy lane having a pretty quiet game and Alex Robertson not being as influenial - it did not seem to matter. I was sat in the oadby owl in Leicester and when Nessy scored on half time i shed a few tears. This is a very special team and i am do proud to support them. Been a while since I left Fratton Park with a destroyed throat. Wasn't the only one from chats I've had. Pompey is buzzing, even got a cheer from a woman on Tesco escalator when she saw my Pompey top a little earlier. Sometimes a game never lives up to the hype but the players were rabid and Mous clearly changed things to keep Bolton under pressure throughout the 2nd half. How good is it to be beating the league's best sides? Up to Shrewsbury on Saturday and my last visit there was an end of season relegation from this league, how times change. Something special is brewing and we're missing half a team to injuries!!

A terrific night , and we finally won on Sky . Everyone fought for the club , quite a few dodgy moments but there was a always someone backing up . Absolutely right it means nothing at this stage of the season but it certainly will be remembered , especially if we win promotion . For me the biggest downer of the night was Kamara having to go off . He was our best creator and Yengi was great in the middle strong and mobile . A great team performance .

What brilliant game to watch. It took a while to get in the groove and to score just before half time was amazing. I think it took the wind out their sails and dented their confidence. We bullied and harrased them in the 2nd half and Yengi caused them all sort of problems up front and got a well deserved goal at the end. This game will give us confidence going forward, knowing we can beat tough opposition. Blue Army.

The best fratton night of our L1 stay.. easy! Much like you Tom, im reluctant to get carried away, especially with such a long way to go, but i really do believe in this team! 2 or 3 new faces in January and i think it could be ours to throw away 🤔 Also, what a different dynamic to the team we have with our boy Yengi up top. That was a statement of intent from us last night, a great gutsy prefomance and scoreline against (another clean sheet and scoring wins since the Blackpool result without Poole and Bishop) self proclaimed 'HMS p!ss the league' meme stealers in the when that meme belongs to us now , i really hope that Abs injury isn't to serious, roll on Shrewsbury game, though the injuries we've had to contend with it now shows the when the owners back the manager and coach more often than not it pays dividends and now we must say that 'rookie' Mousinho is now a special talent as a coach and his stock is rising all of the time, and maybe potential loan signings of Harvey Blair and a few other signings in January, will make the squad stronger , maybe even getting matt richie on homecoming loan will give us more momentum for the second half of the season , another great video Tom , Andrew, Dillon and co 🙏🏻👍🏻💙 PUP

What a great night and a great place to spend our 30th wedding anniversary! I was worried when I found out Bobby Madley was to be the ref, I don't think he was as bad as normal as he was on live TV and didn't want to show himself up. Having said that he let Santos foul Yengi all night and as soon as Yengi got past, miraculously, it was a foul against Yengi. Still we were very good, although a bit static on throw ins and not pressuring the keeper enough and Robertson didn't have his best game but I'm sure that's only a one off.

What a win and what a nice view from the top of the table. Let's enjoy it for now. A long, long way to go yet.

Hi Tom, wow what a night under the lights at Fratton Park last night. I was under no illusion that this was our biggest test of the season so far but, OMG what a performance the lads put in against Bolton. Was so pleased to see Yengi get his goal to seal the 3 points. He got hauled to the ground but got straight back up and kept going, 10 seconds after scores an absolute peach. I went absolutely barmy went that went in, it was limbs everywhere when that went in. He thoroughly deserved that goal for his sheer determination to keep going and also got MOTM as well. What a warrior he is. A top player. So 6 points clear at the top now and cruising. I thought everybody was superb last night, the players, the manager and the supporters. Cracking atmosphere, Fratton Park was absolutely bouncing all night. Two things (well, more when I get there) 1. everyone was criticising their striker for not finishing off an empty netter, but actually it came hard and fast off the Pompey keeper and Charles did not have time to get his foot into position, so the ball rebounded too soon, which is why it went wide. So that comes down to the superlative save from Norris, not with his fingertips (which would have slowed the rebound down) but from his knuckles. Watch it again and you'll see what I mean - that ball was never going in. Second point, and for us the most important is that the younger strikers are not taking *responsibility* for hitting the ball into the net. They are taking two or three extra touches, or passing tippy-tappy to one another IN THE PENALTY AREA, hoping someone else will do it, rather than shooting. Fix that and we will start beating sides five and six nil, and we MUST fix that! The clearest opportunities to shoot were never taken, and that's a lack of personal confidence. Mous *has* to fix that. What a great game, and a great night. If we keep going from here, it's the Championship.

Great video guys! A little story I think you'll enjoy; There were a few blokes at my school when I was a little lad, they got quite into huffing glue. Anyway they eventually got into hard drugs, went down quite a spiral to be fair. Anyway they hang out in my local park a bit these days, now every time I see them when I walk to work (just the local Ladbrokes that I help out in) I yell 'GLUE ARMY!' Would've been happy with a draw, but this team have really stepped up since Blackpool and getting better and better. I think we're a better team without Colby, yes he's a great striker and we need his goals but I've thought for a long time that we're too dependent on him. We need a threat from all over and now we've got that. Yengi battered Bolton's defence and looks a real handful. Him and Colby up front would be a real threat.
