@@Smithy88888 No, Chinese don't constantly remind others they have the oldest civilization and all of the great trade goods like silks they provided the world. Spaniards don't constantly rant about all they did for the Filipinos, or the people of South America. The Dutch don't go on and on about everything they did and built in South Africa. Portuguese are in a special class of their own when it comes to their own pretensions.

Correct! Cartographers, Navigators, Ship Builders/Engineers, Mason's & Infrastructure Builders (carpenters, etc), Labradors, etc, etc. *CERTAIN TYPES*(i.e. bigots) & POWERS* that shouldn't be ARE SO JEALOUS BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T HAVE ACCOMPLISHED A FRACTION of WHAT the PORTUGUESE HAVE DONE ALL OVER THE PLANET... *And so the aforementioned "powers that shouldn't be," the controllers, the real losers pretending to be better/superior... hijack/steal/claim from the real producers (which also includes other cultures, including from the Americans), from those that actually did most (in some cases all) of the work!

It's interesting that the community colleges in Toronto offers courses to learn the languages of French, Italian, Chinese, Spanish, and many other foreign languages except for only two of them, which is the Portuguese and German languages. I wonder why? Interesting, ain't it?

@@realmikemartins Hey Mike, interesting fact, I have a friend who works in Graphic Design here in Ontario that has a German last name, then she told me that she is thinking of changing her last name because her co-workers blame her for the Holocaust. Could it be that both Toronto & BC are more left-leaning than say other provinces and countries?

@@realmikemartins No Mike, the conspiracy to propagate hate towards the Portuguese, even to target/harm/etc, people of Portuguese ethnicity is "just a conspiracy theory.". Even though there's tons of evidence all the place (including many systems) showing/proving that's "it's not a theory!"

The Portuguese are generally accepted everywhere they go. Its possible that we are seeing this because other economies are having a difficult time as well, so the undocumented and other nationals are first to go.
