I get things that get wet - either outside my door, or in route. And it often wrecks or damage the item. I once had an email: Why did you sell me this covered in - what is it? I showed photos, she showed photos and we figured out that along the way there was a mishap, maybe with paint. That's why all my items are shipped in plastic. It arrives in as close to as it left me, regardless of how hard the shipping folks try to destroy it. 🙂 I use a thank you sticker, too. And appropriate padding, so that their first impression is that I took shipping seriously. That's the advice I'd give - you can put all the pretty together in the world, but if you don't really make an effort to do an adequate job caring for the item, it's a mess. 🥰 You look wonderful! Congratulations again and I hope that you enjoy this lovely time. ❤
Congratulations! You look adorable! Best wishes🎉 Also, I enjoy presenting my items in such a way that shows I care. I prefer to use the Priority boxes and envelopes(they’re free and it’s easy to order them right to your door step). I sometimes use the plastic bags, especially during the winter and spring or if it’s going to a place notorious for wet weather. I usually use tissue paper. Sometimes I write a note if the item was expensive but more so I’m using thank you stickers. I reuse those plastic bags from other sellers, as well as tissue paper in some way, even if it’s to just put inside shoes to keep the shape. I think you can make a nice impression with a little bit of effort and it doesn’t have to cost much at all. ❤️
Before I started I would watch McThriftzie with her shipping videos so I followed her example and use packing paper and a thank you sticker. So far I been getting 5 stars on everything I been shipping out.
I use only free shipping supplies from USPS the only thing I spend money on is tissue paper and tape. I don’t buy thank you stickers or cards and I have a 4.9 rating on Poshmark top rated seller on eBay. I don’t like cutting into my profit with all the fluff that’s just going into the garage anyway. I have never gotten bad reviews on shipping
I use plastic wrappers (Thank you Ginger Marvin) and I put a "You've Got Great Taste" sticker on it as well. I also add a personalized thank you card. When I first started reselling, I would elaborately wrap with wrapping paper, ribbon, etc... I don't do that anymore. I get 5 stars a lot.
It is nice to see that still not all of the sellers are using the same packaging. I think all of them are fine as long as the item arrives safely and as described. On a mom note, those halo sleep sacks will be nice to ensure that she is warm when she can't have a blanket and help with the startling reflex. I wish you the best for your upcoming labor and delivery and hope for healthy mommy & baby!
These are some of my favorite videos from you!! 💖💖. The first item is exactly how I would pack it. Poly bag - thank you sticker - free priority mail box / envelope. 😁
Halo sleep sacks are great, especially when trying to fold a perfect swaddle is a test of complex origami on a wriggly baby. They also resell great. You look wonderful and I wish you and baby well. As for shipping, I reuse boxes if a priority box won't work. And the recycling center actually saves bubble wrap and packing paper specifically for resellers. It's always very nice and clean, so that's what I use to wrap items. Sometimes I affix a thank you sticker, but usually I do not. No one has complained about my packaging and, if anyone mentions anything about it in their review, it's always positive. Always 5 star reviews.
I was doing thank you cards then I went to the plastic bag with a thank you sticker on each. I did find that the thank you card added weight on my packages! Good luck with your delivery!
Hello! It’s been awhile since I’ve seen you & OMG congratulations on your baby that is almost here!! How wonderful! You look so great! Can’t wait to see your sweet baby girl. I hope everything goes great, smooth delivery, that you feel great, baby feels great, hugs feels great & all that good stuff! Congrats!!
Amber. You look great. I haven’t seen any videos from you lately, so I figured that you already had your bundle of joy. Great review of shipping. Thanks and good luck with your precious baby girl!
I like how the first seller put a thank you sticker over the inventory sticker. I think I’ll take that idea. I don’t reuse boxes in Poshmark because I just use priority boxes. I will reuse boxes on ebay.
So good to see you again. You look adorable and so healthy!! Thx for the baby update and this content. Best of luck with your new family addition. Pls share a quick update when you can (I'm not on ig).
I use ups boxes and tissue paper to wrap. That's all and no issues. I see a lot of sellers spend sooo much on packaging.... It's wild! Oh one time I ordered the plastic bags from Amazon that have the peel and stick close. Those make things soooo easy and look so nice.
I like these videos! I thought all the packaging was completely fine. I personally prefer re using boxes and no frills like tissue paper or thank you notes.
I order from Poshmark all the time I find the younger the seller they do less or don't send it all. No thank you card no wrapping??? Now I sell on eBay and I wrap in tissue paper and put in plastic bags with a thank you card. It's a little extra that fine brick and mortar stores do, so we should also. Great video
You will love the sleep sacks! I do think they help, but of course babies just want snuggles most of all to sleep 😂 I have a hard time coping with sending out extra plastic, so I don’t wrap my items. I know it doesn’t look as slick, but I still get good ratings. I do send a thank you postcard with my signature and Instagram info on it. Hopefully that provides the personal touch people are looking for. Anyway, congrats and sending you positive vibes for delivery day!
You really are amazing and awesome with everything you do and all you've accomplished. All of your accomplishments are impressive alone, but you put one on top of the other like it's nothing. And now you are becoming a mother. i can't wait to see how you handle that like a boss, too. You are beautiful, too
Those Merlin sleep suits are awesome. I got 2 for my son (in case one was dirty we had an extra on hand). They worked better for us than the halo sleep sack’s because he HATED being swaddled and always fought his way out of them. I thought he’d overheat with those big suits but he was totally fine. On the note of packaging I have a professional standard I always use, but I’ll admit that I package a little nicer and will add some extras if the person is buying a higher priced item.
I don't care about how the box looks but I would prefer to have my items protected instead of raw in the box. I poly bag everything and use usps shipping supplies.
