Positano is the jewel on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. This vertical town is a resort destination and international fashion centre famous for its spectacular setting.

It's such a beautiful town. I had to go off and Google it. It just seemed so strange that a beautiful town would grow on the side of such a steep hill. But if a statue of the Virgin Mary talks to you and says to be set down, then that is reason enough. I loved the winding streets, the cobbled paths, and everything on such an incline. I felt for sure that it would have ended at the beach, but then you took the steps up. I wonder how many steps up and down you completed this day. The views are absolutely amazing. It says that it is very expensive to stay and that sea food is a speciality here. There were certainly quite a few English and American accents, too. It seemed cold for May. It's such a beautiful town and a stunning video that really showed off the beauty of it too. The bus ride was really picturesque too but the roads were so narrow. I really enjoyed this one. Thank you so much for sharing.

It is truly spectacular and amazing the way it has built up the side of the cliffs. It was an enjoyable walk down - the bus trip there was actually the way we arrived so we didn't come back up - we returned to Amalfi by boat. By that time it had started to rain otherwise I was planning on capturing the ferry tour back also - yes it is very expensive to stay there so we chose Amalfi and glad we did because it was definitely worth it. Unfortunately, I didn't think to count my steps - maybe I will if I go again. We were there in April, so yes it was very cold and wet on some days. There were many US and UK tourists there too so their discussions have been captured on film. The roads are way too narrow for my liking which is why we took public transport instead of hiring a car. Definitely worth seeing if you plan on going to Italy/Europe in the future. Thank you for your awesome comment and stopping by. Have wa wonderful rest of the week my dear friend.

The streets are narrow for driving. Better to walk where you did. I have driven past Positano two years ago on the way to Amalfi. It's amazing. 🌿🌿👍👍

Oh yes, we contemplated hiring a car but then decided against it for that fact - the roads are so narrow, the drivers really need to be careful - the bus drivers are absolutely amazing - it was so interesting watching them manouvering their way through one way streets/roads. Amalfi was where we stayed and glad that we did - it was truly magical. Have an amazing rest of the week dear friend. Greetings for the Gold Coast - Australia.
