Bias FX 2 sucks. They basically gave up on Bias Pedal & Amp. Yep! Exactly like apple - Expensive, obsolete until next launch, atleast 5 companies that do it better and cheaper.

@@BigBoy8700I was disappointed with the Cab. Mine came with the main driver unplugged. That's literally the easiest thing to QC for!! And, considering all the other QC problems that people have reported, and how quickly the Live came out afterwards, it's pretty obvious it was quickly designed to be a stop gap at best. That said, it's become my vinyl sound system while I move, and it's actually quite nice for that 😅

Love my PG Spark amps - they genuinely are making playing convenient and affordable. I travel for work a lot and I just take a cable, my Spark GO, and headphones - and I can play in the hotel with all the tones I need!

Interesting... this is very similar to the Mackie ShowBox but can do all your guitar sounds as well without needing another piece of equipment to power.

I loved my Spark Go but dropped it the other day one drop and the solder let go on speaker input jack. Tried to fix it but didn’t work out. Now I have an expensive good headphone amp. Might get another but that jack is definitely a weak point in design.

Things I'd like to see from Positive Grid, pretty please: Ability to have multiple effects of a single kind (say. more than one drive) A looper A spring-like reverb The Cab 1x10 in Pearl The EQ pedal in it's own category. Its not modulation. Hell, stick it in with the noise gate.

So does it run at 150w using the battery or is that only using the mains? Im really interested to see an andertons review. Ive been considering upgrading to the katana air ex...this sounds like for the same price it may be better

The 150w rating for sounds doesn't mean it draws 150w of power. I'm sure the battery will provide full output.

The Fender GDEC is dead but damn was it the pioneer for these amps w/ all these features such as amp models, effects, bass guitar loops, drum loops, overdubbing, etc.

It's pretty cool in a lot of ways, but he glossed over the fact that only channel 1 can use the full spark amps and effects. channel 2 can use a limited set of effects for vocal and bass, and channels 3 and 4 can't at all.

It’ll connect to the app, not directly to your amp, unless you get the Spark Live, which can connect directly.

I'm a big fan since they Multi-FX for idiots like me who have no idea what they are doing when it comes to pedals/speakers etc... I've got Bias FX 2 and 40V Spark, just happy with them they do the job for an idiot like me. Though I wish there was more cross over with Spark and Bias FX, more pedals, multi pedals (IE Multi Distortions on a single patch).

Oh- there are no bad products, only bad demos. The Ice Cream Man? I mean at least spare us the singing dude- just make it an instrumental. And who here fell for the "What should we play?" line? You know they rehearsed this tune a hundred times man. Capt. should've messed them up and introed them by saying "And now they're going to play some Mega Death- but just the solo- Alrighty guys, take it away."

I think it has potential, but would want to mainly use for busking. So battery not included might be a dealbreaker for me! Just include it! Don’t want to spend close to $500 on the amp then have to put out another $75 for a battery! Like I said that will probably be the reason I won’t buy it!

I'm a big fan of the Spark mini, so I bought a Spark 40 and a foot switch and a Cab and I wish it wasn't too late to return them all. So disappointing. The foot switch is completely useless to me as there's so much latency because of the Bluetooth. Don't expect this to work like a stomp box. It doesn't! The Spark 40 doesn't sound nearly as good as the mini. I thought it would sound the same but louder right? No. Totally different. Very boomy and has a very unpleasant clean tone and all the reverbs sound exactly the same. The Cab is not fun to play through at all. I thought I could use it with the 40 in a live situation because I like a lot of the different tones you can dial in and save but it's like playing through you home stereo system. No balls. These are basically toys for beginners or strictly for practicing and learning songs. Great for that, but not ready for prime time. Sorry!

Don‘t buy from Positive Grid unless you‘re ok with never being able to get your devices returned, exchanges or repaired. Their „support“ or „service“ is nonexistent, or rather, they exist only to try and get rid of you as quickly as possible.
