Positive K literally has some of the most beautiful music videos ever made...watch them all in secession and you'll see it...someone was shooting the hell out of his videos
My favorite lines in the song were when she said "My man buys me things and he takes me out" Then he says "Well you can keep ya man cause I don't go that route" 🤣🤣
I'm a Heavy Metal guy but I Very Much remember the first time I heard this song, I was instantly hooked!! The best part is, he sing both parts..its actually quite unreal! Now do Part 2 which is: Carhoppers.
I was a big metalhead in high school, and still love the classic metal bands. But yeah, I like this song, too. Back when rap was fun. When I'm at an intersection, waiting for the walk signal, but there's no traffic coming, I just dart across saying Positive K's line, "I'm not waiting because I'm no waiter, so when I blow up don't try to kick it to me later."
This dropped the summer of "92. Another artist down with the same clique you check out is Grand Puba "360 (What Goes Around)" dropped the same summer. Grand Puba was a very underrated trend setter from Brand Nubian.
Please react to some other 80’s jams: Funky Dividends by Three Times Dope, Slick Rick - Teenage Love, Kool Moe Dee - Wild Wild West, EPMD - You Gots To Chill, LL Cool J - I’m Bad, Heavy D & The Boyz (‘91) - Is It Good To You - all fire! 💯💯🔥🔥🔥
This song has such a fun vibe to it .😏 GREAT throwback! .. Shawny PLEASE react to " RESCUE ME" by A Taste of Honey that's where they sampled the beat from
Song came out in '92. Fun fact...he did both the male and female voice on the track they just raised the pitch so he sounds like a woman. That's why all the women sound like the same girl.
Love that you reacted to this! You see how the woman make it hard for the man to pick her up by shooting verbal zingers at him? That's how we used to flirt back in the 80's & early 90's. Today people would think it's mean and get offended but back then it was spicy & fun to see if a man could handle what you threw at him & dish it back & forth!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Love your reaction to this❤️ Glad you liked it. This is one of those songs where I think both sexes could learn a couple of things such as: respecting one's boundaries, and learning how to take rejection in a healthy way. Anyways, great reaction as always💯👍🏾
Lol Glad you checked this out! I remember when it came out, everyone loved it!! Still do. Thanks for the memories 😊 *Edit* Oh, and it came out in 1992.
Oh yeah this was the sh it that year..92/93..specifically Summer of 93. I used to play this song heavily in my lil black walkman i had then. There's a remix to this song that i have to this day..they used to play it on MTV..I found it years ago..that shit still bangs to this day.
Great reaction! Positive K has 3 more music videos you would enjoy: Carhoppers, Ain't No Crime & Nightshift. Also, you gotta react to the song that came before this one... MC Lyte Ft Positive K- I'm Not Havin' It (1988), one day.
I think Shawny needs to check out: 1.Ton Loc-WildThang, Funky Cold Medina. 2.Young MC- Bust A Move. 3.E.U- Da Butt 4.Wreckx-N-Effect- Rumpshaker. 5.J.J Fadd-Super Sonic 6.L'Trimm- Cars With The Boom. Would love to see your reactions to these😂🤣
Hey, you need to check out the top video on the right side of your screen. Heavy D & The Boyz - Now that we found love. Put your dancing shoes on when you listen cuz it be THUMPIN
Nov 3rd 1992... Every time I heard this song, especially at a house party... you started talking to every female up in there. Have you gotten back to Eric B and Rakim - I ain't no joke... That song is banging now.
Yoooo I loveeee you reacted to this!! 💯 would you consider The System "Don't Disturb This Groove"? It's a little earlier than most you've reacted to 1987 but I KNOW you will love it!! Thanks brother 💜
I was in the 3rd(1993) grade when this was out…everybody used to rap the hook when girls said they had a man lol…a little known fact..this is music video director Hype Williams first music video (busta rhymes, missy, etc)
like much rap, the beat is borrowed. This beat is from "Rescue Me" by A Taste Of Honey, a group and a song you're too young to remember but I saw them play live in concert with Rick James.
If you're looking for an old good song... mind playin tricks on me by getto boys.... or a good newer artist... 30 deep grimey and cee murda have a banger over a old beastie boys beat called stain on me
