This is all very helpful, thank you. What’s your opinion on setting a timer for 5 minutes and making them wait before you the parent talks to them after they’ve had a tantrum (perhaps after they’ve screamed how much they hate you, the parent.)
So helpful to hear this and especially the tone you use. I've been using some of these and it helps so much with my 3 year old. I've just started with my 16 month old who is more prone to self aggression and tantrums. Thank you again!
My son has started saying “don’t say that to me!” When I try to talk to him during a fit and it made me sad that he didn’t want me to comfort him, so I’m glad to hear it’s “normal”. Love this video, thank you!
I absolutely looooovvvee all of this advice in all of your videos. I keep coming back and rewatching your videos. They have helped me out tremendously 💕💕💕
I feel bad because lately when I get frustrated my daughter will say “you happy mom” Like she doesn’t want me to get frustrated. And I try to tell her it’s ok to be frustrated, sad or mad. HELP!
