Looks like you are lucky! My 6.2 is nearing 800 miles on the clock and has been great (6 speed manual-no AFM). Still glad I got this instead of the Black on Black manual Scatpak Widebody Challenger I waited 4 months for. The LT1 was the best bargain out there and left me with massive upgrade opportunities because of the price difference ( your video inspired 1LE gunmetal wheels due this Wednesday).
Even though you have a manual, the AFM issue will plague both autos and manuals. You still have the terrible lifters and prone to lifter failure that the autos have. Doesn’t matter if you disable the AFM or don’t have it. It only delays the issue they might have.
I blew the rear end in my ‘14 Camaro twice , over revved it and floated the valves, snapped a rear axle, and warranty covered ALL of it I bought the extended warranty!!! It was a 6.2 V8…. Wouldn’t settle for less in a Camaro !
Thanks man! The plate I got from Chris at DeadBrand Designs. I got a video of it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X167jhkvfQ0.html
I purchased my dream car got a 2019 2ss 6 months after I got the same thing as you did. Warranty covered it but it was bad that the lifter and camshaft had to be both replaced. I love the Camaro but from what I heard Chevy makes the worst lifters ever. Makes me want to purchase after market lifters? Since tbh I know it’s gonna happen again.
@@JCSCUSTOMS Yeahhh I hope the same for you Josh! Like cuz mines a key start and the auto shifter I would put it in park and the key wouldn’t come out😭 but got that fixed a while ago
