I remember this adventure and hats off to you for making the road trip, camping, another road trip, then a Paris Metro journey to the Eiffel Tower, do you have a camper van ? , it seems a little warmer than a tent......but camping out, however you do it, is fun. Just read one find was a grenade !!! .......how are the French police when alerted to firearms finds? It's been a long long time since I was in Paris and I remember walking up the Tower as far as you were allowed to go, then back down again. The tourists and romantics cruising along the surface of the water enjoying the beautiful sights while others are dumping trash under the water.where they know it will be hidden, that is , until you all come along .
