The becoming of an armour sleeve. The client, Josh sent an email saying how he wanted his leg and arm tattooed. At the time I declined the leg and said yes to the arm arm.
He was very inspired by my past armour tattoos. Armour of rams, armour of wryms and the Skaldlind, A mixture of the stringent and scale like pieces, contrasting with the looser dynamics of the Skaldlind, ala Jelling & Ringerike styled pieces.
I aimed for a medieval touch, segments of armour, as opposed to one fluid piece. As Josh mentioned world of warcraft and dungeons and dragons, I allowed myself to fall back into those kinds of designs, looking at those inspired designs and implemented this accordingly.
He also wanted elements of Heimdall and Valkyrie.
And something bear related.
With all that in mind, I created what you see above. ENJOY.
