I agree. One thing that I really enjoy in some playables are the calls. The broadcast and the friendly call of the Amarga are fantastic! I love the low bass in the calls! My favorites come from the Argent from the PT mods.
I mean it’s not a free snack to everyone it’s one of the strongest for its size, what’s messed up about it is if an apex looks at a solo one it’s dead since they can’t run away. It’s getting a massive buff next patch though, 1.5x combat weight

Amarga should have wonderful defensive options and able to select different diets. Maybe even make it so they can graze on tree tops. They should have option for a defensive boost call or healing call and could be the second dino to be able to heal others.
Amargasaurus can take on one allo, sucho or pycno, but since people only play rexes, it's doomed. And It doesn't help that it's stomp is extremely buggy to land and can be cancelled by simply walking into it. If it wasn't for the addition of the rex or the status of megalanias, we would see a lot more amargas to begin with.
I love Amarg, but it needs love from the devs. It doesn't even have a different diet option. Overall, it feels like Amarga was never finished. I'm hoping the overhaul will fix this and make this dino more inviting to play.
Yep im new to this and didn't even have skin unlocked and beat a sub adult Rex. He started the fight too and got owned. Tried face tanking me and I just stomped him a few times and head but him, then chased him head-butting him as amarg can do that also. The Rex bled out lol. This guy is just crap. I do admit the amarg can still be improved but will deff win a 1v1 against all dinos bar a few..
I hate playing as Rex. I've been playing Allosaurus as my main dino since they released it like 2 years ago. Fun playing as Allo. Boring playing as Rex.
Good design but the stats make it so useless to play with. No wonder why there isn't a lot of amarg. I guess I'll main amarg while it sucks cuz it can be fun to play as amarg 😆 You are so near 1k sub!
Yep, gettin super close!! Every time I see an amarga, I’m blown away. “How did you make it this far?!” I think the main reason for our survival was sticking to the heavily wooded areas. Anywhere else and we would probably still be workin on the video 😂
Bruh It isn’t. Amarga can face tank every mid tier except sucho maybe. It’s bleed can bleed out allos, and it can do really good against packs. Apex’s, though, are a problem
I really love amarga, I spent some time on it and agree it's have some powers, but I also agree it's one of the worst dinos in game for now. First of all, amarga can't ran from anyone, it simply has no choice except fight back (which is acceptable idea/concept). But if this may be not a big problem against few mid tiers, if there is more amarga would be dead (even faster if there is any bonebreakers). And as not the most agile it can be pretty easy circled around even by small pack. For example, anodonto has visually even smaller size and can't ran from anyone too, but in return it has much more defensive options and can destroy aggressors even being heavily outnumbered. And yeah, amarg can't escape rexes at all except if got their attention almost at the end of the render distance - in that case it can try to outstam them and hide, which is still does not guarantee safety. Amarga sometimes feels nice on servers with rules and group limits, but on officials or no-rules server it is, most likely, just a free meat. It's just not fits in the "weak but fast, slow but strong" paradigm which we could see everywhere in the PoT. In my opinion it should get atleast one significant buff (major speed and slight damage buffs probably is the best variant to keep it dangerous, but killable by mid tiers and give amarg chance to escape big predators). Again, just my simple gaming experience thoughts, not pretending to be right. upd I changed it so many times now... hard to form my thoughts lol
Every 3 slot can just wipe it off Panjura except Daspleto and Anodonto, but that's because Daspleto and Anodonto are pretty bad on main branch as well, stuff like Allo and Albert can just get on yo ass and just destroy you, Styraco and Stego just bleed you out, Lambeo and Iggy just tail kite you to death
Idk if it was an issue with anyone else (great video before I continue) but I found your voice to be extremely quiet and it was very hard to understand some of the things you were saying because of that.

No doubt, this one Dino is so.. so bad. I dunno why, though. When we look at her stats, she looks decent but when it comes to practice, oh my God, she's bad at every perspectives, like combat, speed, her attacks cooldown, etc. This is the only official sauropods in the game, yet it so bad that few people willing to play them. That's a dayum shame
Wow, that’s impressive! I’m sure if given some time, the amarga can be played well. Just gotta figure out what it’s strengths are. I was probably in a pretty bad spot when I died. I may have done better if I was against a wall lol
the amarga is fun and cool. BUT its way too weak and slow! thats the only issue. the gameplay and mechanics with it is great fun otherwise. I grew it on officials.
