These are pretty cool, although I am not sure about the thickness and texture of the bases. I know that you drilled in to support some of the structures, but thin plastic or old cds with just a fine sand texture might work. Just thinking of high use areas and what sort of surface people walk over and the sort of trash that builds up in markets.
Hi, is the stuff you refer to as ‘jezzo’ spelled ‘gesso’ ? I did years studying the academic Fine Arts. In the painting world it’s pronounced ‘guess-o’ not ‘jezzo’. I’m assuming you’re talking about the same stuff. It’s possible you are talking about a different product I never heard of before. Gesso is used traditionally for priming canvases.
