Same as what happened to Honey. Paolo is so amazingly creative sa theatrics pero takes the youth out of the girls he handles dahil sa severity ng tweaks!

True! Super ganda ni Graciella last year. As in, she looks so fresh and ready to represent the country. I think the reason why she doesn't look as fresh is not really because of the retoke but because she lost so much weight? Sobrang pumayat si girl to the point na parang hindi na maganda? Especially kung nakita mo siya at yung body niya last year, mako-compare mo talaga. Ang sexy niya last year at parang may curves siya pero this year, sumobrang nipis. Medyo malaman din yung face niya kaya mas bagay talaga sa kanya at tama lang sa kanya yung itsura niya last year. Kaya siguro sobrang umiba yung aura niya kasi she lost some fats din sa face dahil sa pagpayat which I think is reason kung bakit hindi youthful ang atake niya. Sad. Sayang.
graciella delivered an impeccable answer last year. crown na lang talaga kulang and parang pwedeng pwede na siya isabak agad if she’s really translating na gusto niya makuha ang mgi crown. compared this year, i agree with tita lavinia’s statement sa transformation kemerut niya. i’m saying this because i love her and hopefully if she’ll join again, hoping she’d gain a little weight. her body and face was just so off this year. my take on this is parang hindi na inspirational yung transformation niya. her look last year was on point. this year was so off but i really expected na she would be in the top 12 and for sure ilalaban niya statement niya and q and a for sure.
Nicole B had the most heartfelt, straight-to-the-point answer in the q&a and had one if the four loveliest faces among the 12 (with Chelsea, Gabbie, and Roberta). She deserved the BbP-MI crown. If we were going purely with the q&a, Stacey Gabriel would have placed higher.

Yes. di ko ma justify kung saan xa nag base kasi online at fancams, malayo o malapit, sa gilid o harap in-sync ang galawan ng boys. may mga steps kasi na if ung sa center ang kakanta para ma highlight hindi xa gaano sasayaw or may iba xang choreo kc xa ang highlight bukod dun sa apat na nasa magkabilang gilid palitan nga ng spotlight. Baka sanay xa manood ng group performance na isa lang ang bida2x. Hindi po kasi cla ganon. SB19 are branded by their synchronization and harmonization, plus the vocals. Walang sapawan sa kanila. Lahat binibigyan ng spotlight at nagko complement cla sa isat isa. Mukhang may nakikita si tita na di natin nakikita.🤔
Speaking English is not a requirement but is a huge advantage in the international stage especially when interacting with fellow candidates and general audience. I trust the judges' choices for the crowns tonight. I like Herlene as a person while she has an inspiring back story and huge following but I didn't expect her to get any of the crowns. I thought she would be only in top 12 as there were more deserving ladies than her but I'm happy she was 2nd RU. I also believe that there is also politics in beauty pageants.
Isn't the Top 12 pre-determined through their performances in the pre-pageant events though? As for the crown placements, I think the ladies got the crowns they are most suited for. As you've mentioned in the past, it's not determined by the score. When it comes to MI, Nicole Borromeo fits the soft, sweet and quiet elegance that MI looks for. I mean, when you look at her and Hannah together, they exude the same aura. I think the Miss International crown was always for Nicole's taking, she just had to not make a massive mistake. Gabby might have been the top scorer of the night, but her strong beauty is more suited to Miss Intercontinental. I've always thought Chelsea would be a great follow up to Maureen for Miss Globe. I loved her EG styling and performance. She might have been gunning for MI as well, but she also looked happy when she won Miss Globe. As for MGI, no shade to Herlene, but I think Roberta outclassed her. Nawat might not agree, but BBP has always had a different idea when it comes to the delegates sent to MGI. I understand Graciella not making the Top 12. Her "enhancements" made her look over-processed, and TBH, she didn't need those in the first place. I'm not sure why others didn't call this out before, but Graciella also looked emaciated. Karen Laurie was always called out for being too thin, but I think Graciella was way worse. I feel bad for Cyrille, it must've been very heartbreaking and humiliating to have won an international pageant and not even make the semis in BBP.

Re Roberta: I’m glad that she was rewarded with a crown despite her lackluster q&a (explains her grateful, teary reaction). Once she realizes the bashing from Nawat that’s in store for her, however, she’ll realize that the BbP Grand crown is a curse rather than a prize. Im praying for her.

G na G na naman kayo kay Nawat. I always say this, deserve ng PH ang non-placement with Sam Lo, Sam Pan and Eva P. I even think we placed so high with Clenci and Cordoves. Yung kay Sam Ber lang ang pwede nating iclaim na nadaya tayo but then again a runner up finish is still decent and nangyayari naman talaga yan na minsan mas deserve ng runner up kesa winner pero ganun talaga.
I warned SamP about what would happen to her and encouraged her to quit (going to Thailand) while she was ahead. She didn’t listen and look at what happened to her. A big, “Told you so!”
To be honest, I did not anticipate Karen to clinch the MI crown due to her age (considering that she will compete next year had she won) but I’m sad that she wasn’t considered for the Intercon or Globe titles. We have a strong chance for a b2b win with Gabby and Chelsea though. Happy for Roberta as our MGI contender inspite of a not-so-strong q and a performance. Nicole Borromeo made it through the highest crown of the night with her charm and wit but Yana deserves so much better with her mind blowing performance. A rumored mistake of announcing one of the winners is yet to be corroborated but hoping for this to be addressed by BBP ASAP whether true or not.

Maybe Graciella's face is not facially outstanding that might be the reason why she did not make it to the first cut she looks so good way back 2021 but this year something has been changed on her face it looks like an overdone enhancements

The SGV representative was there handing Cat each card per title/crown. She and Nicole were simply reading off the cards. The SGV rep should be asked as well as he monitored the deliberation up to the release of the names of the winners. I’m pretty sure there’s something malicious behind this stunt. Its probably all planned to cast doubt on the credbility of the pageant and the Aranetas. 💐

If there was any accidental switching involved (in the printing of names, since Cat & Nicole were only reading what was being handed to them), it would have only been between Globe and InterCon. And since they were at the same level, it would have made sense for BPCI to simply “ignore” the mistake and move on with the show. (It would have been a big deal - and they would have corrected it on the spot - if it had involved the top MI title or the very low Grand title.)

They can do any genre from pop, hiphop, rap, ballads and many more. You will never regret stanning them.

I completely understand the selection process for the winners of the 2022 BB Pilipinas. Magaling sumagot sa Q & A si Yana Aduana, pero her beauty does not fit Miss International, fierce and palaban ang dating nya. Chelsea Fernandez is a very strong follow up to Maureen Montague at Miss Globe. Gabby Basiano rocked the evening gown and her Q & A and also a strong follow up to Cindy Obenita at Miss Intercon. Nicole Borromeo fits the Miss international prototype na mukhang manika at very classy & demure. Roberta Tamondong is very strong for MGI. As for the losing girls, Karen Laurie was outshined by the other girls in the Q & A, she lacks conviction in her answer. Anna Valencia, Anne De Mesa, Jasmine omay are very underrated, tahimik at walang malakas na social media following pero me ibubuga. Herlene Budol's answer is a revelation, me substance yung answer nya. She completely changed my preconceptions about her. The worst performer of the night for me is Diana Mackey, walang kabuhay buhay, matamlay at walang improvement as a beauty queen. Roberta's Q & A is a ??????. Pero me laban sya sa MGI, and hindi masyado ang emphasis sa kudaan sa barangay contest ni Angkol. Gain pa sya ng more pageant experience at pag hinog na hinog na sya, pwede na sya isabak sa MUPH. I understand na rin kung bakit di pumasok si Graciella Lehmann. One word to describe her: skeletal. Di nakaganda sa kanya yung pagka payat nya. CJ Opieza's exclusion from the Top 12 is one of the greatest mysteries of the world for me. Yana Aduana, Anne De mesa, Chelsea Fernandez (after her Miss Globe stint), Roberta Tamondong, I wanna see them all at the MUPH stage in the future.

Congrats to the ladies! Roberta is too good a person and has so much potential for better pageants to be played with by that pageant centipede from Thailand. She doesn’t deserve the mockery and she needs to know better. She should quit now and train & prepare for MUP instead.
I wish BPCI had just given the Grand crown to Herlene. She wanted it very badly and would therefore handle the impending loss at the international pageant better (her choice to join the event) than Roberta who didn’t ask to be sent and mocked by Angkol in Indonesia.
She checks all the marks. Kailangan na lang hasain sa comm. skills. She’s literally too classy - and on the side of demure - to compete at that Thailand-based fake pageant. Hindi match. With more training, she’ll be better off at Miss Universe. Yes, she shouldn’t waste her time and risk ruining her physiological health (when she gets subjected to Nawat’s shenanigans) by quitting now while she’s ahead.
I'm sorry but can't relate on what u said sb19 is not in sync. We've watched a lot of fancams and online vids in different angles and its the opposite of what u just said. They are branded for synchronization & harmonization. BBP is amazing, but the boys are excellent. Well can't please everyone.

I correctly predicted in my comments to your previous live session the fate of the repeaters. That Graciella and Jashmin will not make it to the Top 12 (but you did not read my comment because maybe you don’t want any negativity). Yes, it is the freshness and natural-ness factor. I also said only Gabby will get a crown while Karen will be a runner up or finalist. I just don’t see it in Karen, tbh. I don’t get all the predictions placing her as MI.

Stacey Gabriel at this pageant looked like a prettier version of the Philippine representative to the upcoming Julia Morley Cooking Show (can’t remember her name right now, sorry).
Tita nakatulog na ako bg post live mo, but regarding sa production un sa TV ang lala merong mga moments na nagbublur sa TV. Check mo sa annoucement ng winners. Akala ko nga sa signal lang ng cable namin pero same sya sa youtube. Tapos un camera hindi stable gumagalaw galaw at yung camera inanouce na un winner di pa nakafocus sa winner nasa host un camera nakakaurat.
Hindi talaga malinaw kung pano pinipili ang BBP winners, based sa judge's scores or may say ang BCPI. Pero may pattern na hindi ang Q&A ang sole basis ng judging (classic example yung ki Janina San Miguel) at nangyari ulit ki Roberta Tamondong. Parang hearsay din talaga yung sinasabing favoritism ng org. sa mga candidates. Di rin nakakuha ng korona sina Vicky Rushton dati at ngayon naman si Anna Valencia na sinabing mga favs .

Tita the production this year is a downgrade and its quite a mess. Sa opening pa lang, 90% of the cam is focused sa SB19 (ganun ba talaga yun?). Madilim pa din ang stage 😔 and poor camera angle. Yung mga chronic problem ng BbP is di na mareremedyuhan. Nakaka-sad talaga.
LAGUNA deserves a crown ang kaso sino tatanggalin mo sa Top 6. Payumo, Graciella and Dimaculangan deserved to move to Semis but again sino na naman tatanggalin mo sa Top12 eh deserve naman nila spot nila.
Mukhang OK naman si Cat & Nicole afterwards, so I doubt there was a serious issue. SGV audited the results and if I remember correctly SGV was handing them the printouts, so everything would have been checked. Baka feel lang umeksena ng floor director. 😂😂😂
Apparently they’ve given official responses and have said that nothing went on. But obviously something did, enough to stop a live announcement that was in progress. Maybe one of the judges forgot about the deliberation results they had agreed on and thought something was amiss and therefore s/he created some noise. Or maybe the production simply wanted some drama (like the Miss Mexico brouhaha) to generate attention, though this would be very unlike of SMA’s classy, conservative approach to managing things.
