Post-firing or cold finishes are terms used for painting on pottery clay. Marie makes her own clay sculptures and teaches potters and painters how to use acrylics for blackwashing and getting soft colors to enhance facial expressions and emotions. Marie Gibbons is a ceramic artist and painter from Denver Colorado and the owner of EVB studio. She helps teachers with painting and sculpting projects with school children and has regular hands-on workshops in her studio.
