The Pacers went on a 2021 Hawks type run except literally everyone they played was hurt. Bucks had no Giannis for all the games, and Dame missed 2 games, and the series still went 6😭😭😭. The Knicks were a dam infirmary. OG hurt, came back for game 7, took 1 shot and hobbled off the court, no randle, Brunson broken hand, Mitchell Robinson ankle, Josh Hart ankle, I mean damn. The literal infirmary Knicks. The Pacers deserve to be that low they were objectively on a fluke run last year.
Pacers at 18! Heat at 20! Suns at 17! Lakers at 11 (way too high)! Warriors above the suns, pacers and heat is crazy. Clippers are way too high after trading pg-13. Hawks at 22 is also crazy low.
I think you're too low on the knicks, sure the grizzlies were the 2 seed 2 years ago but the knicks were the two seed this year and have arguably improved more than the grizzlies
*#2 seed in the east means almost nothing.* #2-8 east seeds were separated by only 4 games. And #2 east seed's record would only be #5-6 seed in the west.
Hate to say it as a Grizz fan but you’re right, both teams have improved a lot, but since we have a questionable health issue among our players, the Knicks edge out just by a bit
not saying the Kings should be considered contenders or anything, but they didn’t get any worse on defense, while getting WAY better on offense with their half court sets, attacking the basket, iso plays, playmaking, and last second shots. This also frees up space for Fox who quietly shot 39% on catch and shoot 3’s last year, along with all the other shoots still on the team 🤷♂️
Rockets all not “all-in” on Cooper Flagg, they would’ve been a play in team if they were in the East. There’s a good chance they make the play in this year too
Honestly don’t understand how people think the Mavs are below the Wolves when the Wolves just got slapped in 5 to them, and the Mavs made vast improvements offensively and a bit better defensively
And the 2015 warriors weren’t young? Shai’s 26 while Curry was 27. They have more experience and if Shai hadn’t fouled PJ Washington in Game 6, they might’ve been in the WCF this year
@@TropicalLaser21sure but they will be in title contention for at least next 15 years with how stacked they are and how many first round picks they have.
They were the best team in the conference finals until Hali got injured tbh I'd say they are atleast top 8 especially if Bennedict Mathurin and the others from the 2022 draft and after get some good minutes.
The thing with the thunder, is that they are so fricking young, so instead of title or bust, its title or next year title, or next year title, or next year title.
Guys don't worry, even though the Pacers and Heat are very low, they will still be in the play-in spots of 7 and 8. The East is just a tanking conference so being too low doesn't matter.
this guy is a straight casual, he puts the pacers at eighteen after making the ecf two months ago, and as a knick fan with a straight face are the bucks, and grizzlies even close to as good a team , as A knick team with Jalen, Julius, bridges, annuoby, hart, divencenzo, and Mitchell Robinson. SMH
Kings were missing Monk and Huerter towards the end of the season and still came within 1 game short of making the playoffs in the west. Adding DeRozan puts them around 4th best team in the west. Def a top 10 team if they stay healthy.
Man you don’t watch nba if you have pacers at 18. One of the best young cores and they made it to ecf. Kind of makes me mad just since they are a small market team/fan base no one respects them.
not true, East is way better than west. West has powerhouses like Denver, Dallas, OKC, Minnesota, but East haas so much more depth. Cavs, magic, pacers, Celtics, Knicks, bucks, sixers!
@@scrawnyconnie yeah pacers are behind Celtics, 76ers, Knicks, Magic, Cavs, Bucks. definitely a biased take 16-20 is exactly where they belong, they would not make the playoffs in the west
@@Graham7G pacers didn’t have Hali Or mathurin in most of the playoffs, people talk about Knicks and bucks injuries but never talk about. The. Pacers innjuriess
Is it really hating when the pels haven’t shown us any reason to put much faith in them they just they younger version of the clippers same story every year injuries good that can be threat but never is due to their best players being injury prone
I'm honestly not mad with the Pacers. We're not grading teams based on last year, we're looking at them at how good of a chance they have this upcoming season.
You should be more upset about the grizzlies being higher than you guys than the bucks lol. we’ve seen a (sorta) healthy grizzlies team get smoked by LA but we haven’t even seen the bucks play a game of the playoffs with dame and giannis
Murray is the perfect fit for us. A clutch shooter who can take over Point Guard role and let CJ McCollum go back to his natural position SG. So I don’t see why the pelicans aren’t top 10
The bucks at 7 youre crazy 😂 we got healthy Giannis and dame and we got good perimeter defenders and good role player's garry trent jr and Taurean prince bucks top 3 for sure
Tbh i don't think Lakers keeping the same squad is a bad agency move gives the team time to build chemistry and if they would stop playing around they could be an actual threat
i was expecting next level thunder slander because you never give them the credit, but i think 2 is the only acceptable answer for them. you could argue the nuggets come back after a rusty year or boston falls off a bit because they just won but 2 is still the most reasonable.
