Post game recap - LA Sparks vs LV Aces in Vegas 

Good game !! I was shocked Kate was getting so much minutes this early in the season. brink & Jackson is like getting two #1 picks . Sparks are going to be very good .

Yes the Sparks was guving The Aces a run. The rookies was on Fire on both team. Hamby was balling!

I'm real happy for Hamby, just because I always want mom's to be successful. Mom's have the hardest job in the world, so they deserve every good thing that happens for them. The Aces and the Sparks both made great draft picks, and we are already seeing the results. The selections of Brink, Jackson, Martin and Fair will pay off big time as the season goes on.

while i think rickea should get more minutes and close games as she gets more comfortable, it's tough to make her a starter now because there isn't enough scoring ability and versatility off the bench. she can back up the SF & PF for now. i think they need to wait until azura stevens comes back from the injured list.

I don't think teams should trade the maturity and experience on the court to start a rookie. Especially when both players are playing evenly well. (Referring to the bench Kia Nurse to start Rickea Jackson question.)

Kate Martin played very well. A great block on a 6’7” center, good defense, hit a 3 pt shot. 3 assists and 5 rebounds. Her teammates love how she plays. She got them hyped a couple times. Baller.

Kate Martin is why I always tell players to stay ready. You never know when your number will be called. What could’ve only been meant to give another player a break turned into coach letting her cook and her proving she deserves to be there. So proud of her. I can’t wait for Dyashia to get a try, especially with Chelsea being out

Kate Martin stayed on the court because she held her own with the other players on the court and hardly made any mistakes on either side of the ball. It was only at the very end when Kate's performance cracked. That happened when she telegraphed her pass for a turnover then soon followed up with the 2nd foul undercutting an airborne player. I'm going to blame those two missteps in play to wearing down energy-wise nearing the end. (Like Quita said, I thought Kate was going to be allowed to stay on the court through the end of the game before those two mistakes. Coach Hammon pulled her out because Kate needed to come out.) I think it takes a little time for coaches and players to learn how to far each player can stretch before becoming a liability over an asset when playing a the full hard WNBA level. I'm proud of Kate Martin. She represented the Aces very well yesterday... for about 24 of 26 of her minutes. That is great for a Rookie's first game. (I'd be really fun getting to hear what was said in Kate Martin & Caitlin Clark's first phone call after Martin's play yesterday.)

Real talk ,I believe the Sparks have a better team (than most people believe)!
