Post-surgery during the first 7 days, the patient has to sleep straight with a 30-degree incline. After 7 days, the patient can take a 90-degree tilt after the surgery. The patient's post-heart surgery diet is strict for the first 7 days and then based on your doctor's consultation one can change it. Less oily and spicy foods should be taken into diet consideration. Coconut water & lemon water should be taken as the medicines cause loss of electrolytes.
