I love the humour of your podcasts and this one was excellent. Just plain and simple blethers and poor Iona fuelling Cammy's quips. Keep it up please 👏👏
Share the same sediments. I believe you both are positive in your podcasts because you both love what you do or how you were raised into the farming community. I also think Cammy, your sense of humor is infectious. You make Iona giggle and laugh. So enjoyable. I love the farm experience podcast and Friday's podcast. Your honesty about things draws me in. Can't say enough, really, about all that you do.
I'm a 78 year old lady and I love Fed By Farmers Podcasts, so fascinating and educational and hilarious. Iona's giggles are infectious. The Podcasts should be on Prescription and also The Sheep Game ❤
People are nice because uou are nice - everyone feels like you are personal friends even though nany of us have never met you and we know hie hard you eork in all weathers- and hats off to Lizzie and your bairns - wgst a family 👏👏👏👏👏
I just love this show. The informality, humor and content make this an absolute highlight for me. Please keep this going. It’s just great. Iona is lovely and complements the ever lovable Cammy.
I have enjoyed this podcast! Love the interaction and humour between you two! I am learning about Scottish farming and the animals with you, The Hoof GP and Dalscone!
Yes, I LOVE listening to the chats :) I truly enjoy all of the farming information, even though I've never seen a live sheep! BUT, listening to you chat is the BEST!
I absolutely love you guys. My hubby thinks I'm mad sitting laughing my head off. Yes, agree love Friday catch up but sometimes life gets in the way. Happy to watch whenever you post. Keep up the great work 😂👏🌾🐄🚜🐑😁
Love your Friday chats , never a dull moment full of fun and laughter. Thanks to you both. See you at Dalscone next Saturday, hope to catch you shearing Fiona.
Love, love the Fed by Farmers podcast and the Sheep game! My favourite utube channel. Love your banter, love Iona saying her name at the beginning always makes me smile. Love your accents, the valuable information you talk about…good, bad and not so pretty, the reality of farming. Cammy you are the real deal! Love seeing your family grow…as you can tell…I LOVE it all!😊😊😊Watching faithfully from Ontario Canada. ❤❤❤❤❤
I work at a University in California and we put on several larger events but they don't compare to the size of the RHS. The expenses that go into one of our shows is crazy.
You should definitely do a fed by farmers series on the business side of your sheep farming, get a consultant in to analyse what your doing and break it all down. Be great insight for non farmers as well as farmers. My guess is you’re under stocked? Keep the content coming guys 👏👏
Look at how expensive theme parks are, or any event venue (concert). Prices are up everywhere. Not just the show, but advertising, booking/managing entertainment and vendors, insurance, maintenance of the grounds, and salaries. 42 with kids under 16 naught seems reasonable even with a 15 park fee. Agree most people could stand to get out (especially if work from home), but you wanting to relax at home is totally understandable. LOL on the sell the sheep and you could swing the farm. Happy you've found potential property, getting out of the renting game is a great thing. Still paying out funds, but you can make changes and fix things on your own property. Then eventually maybe expand
Down to earth and positive, we've never met, but if I met either of you guys I think it would be like meeting old friends. Keep doing what you're doing! You're fed by farmers, we are fed by farmers❤️🐑
Loved it. Just the pick me up i needed. I dont know about there, but in the US there are many non-religious churches. Buildings that no longer have a congregation and are now used as event sites. Sign of the times.
Brilliant , love the Friday night craic . Hey if you set out ' to make a living and not a killing ' ,everything will fall into place , we are all the same we just want to leave our farms in better shape and to leave behind great memories and a love of the land to our children. Great work team .
Just love the chat and I loved the highland show 😊and I’m not from farming love seeing 🐑🐏🐄🐴🐶 brilliant and it’s a good price just to say I was a bit shy to talk to you Iona as I’ve meet Cammy and lizzy last year 😊
Oh my days - thanks for making me belly laugh. Got a few weird looks from my mini sausage dogs too. Two brilliantly funny and genuine folks having a blether about a variety of things. Nae so sure about the singing though Cammy - however that's probably when I laughed the most. Thank you for that. 🎶🎤 Keep up the great work guys.!!! 🥰🤣🐏🐑
I agree Your Podcasts are very positive because you both are such positive people I love your vibe You can talk about serious stuff but unlike some Farmers - particularly Diary Cow Farmers and Beef Farmers - that I have come across on RU-vid, particularly English and Welsh farmers, who immediately slip into anger and even rage (even when totally justified) this really turns me off and I have to stop listening I love your banter and your eagerness to help other Sheep Farmers and to give Sheep Farmers a voice. As well as your encouragement to get more young people into Sheep Farming You must know by now that I am a Vegan and have been for over 40 years. You have opened my eyes to how Animal Welfare is now such a high priority since I first decided to become a Vegan. . I won’t be eating meat again and I will be upset when your Lambs go to Market but now I have seen how Sheep Farming actually works. It is Factory Farming and Big Agri that I still have issues with Thank you for reassuring me and for making me rethink my understanding of what Sheep Farming actually involves
Living where I do, I meet movie stars in my shopping and dining out. I understand how the average person feels when meeting Iona and Cammy in a market stall, absolutely shy, because you've been in my home for so long already, but on the big screen. You don't know me at all, but I know you and your dad and your education and your work.
Early bird 2025 up for £34 at the moment. Totally agree about comparing the cost of a similar event & I feel it's worth it & that's as a non farming background. Love it. You two's humour is grand.
Hey Iona…how did you and Cammy find each other in this passion for farming? And as a side note….can I just say how very pleased I am that technology is making it so that you can afford to keep expanding your farming world?
My daughter and husband have slept through tornado sirens , car alarms , semis blowing tires . Me , I wake up when anyone is up or hubby walks in the door .
Loved the highland loved meeting you (didn’t get a chance to speak to Iona since she was busy serving 😢) love your chats you are both so funny, keep up the great work guys 😁
Great chat … last bit about up ma grans had me ended lol see if you could pop round every morning n spout p@sh like that my week would be so much better 😂😂😂😂😂 you need to get up on stage with jim smith ….. GET JIM DOWN ON THE SHOW!! Great 💡 idea
Not even 7 minutes in and had to comment before i forget to .. as always i love this podcast . I know what your saying about the FED/Sheepgame supporting and helping to support your farming business like any other farm diversification would but especially yours Cammy if it wasn't for your own farming experience and hard work that you decided to share the Sheepgame would never have started so if it's now reaping rewards and paying you back for your hard graft and helping your core business grow it's a credit to you 👌
Friday chats are brilliant. I was one of those people who was too afraid to talk, especially after making a disaster of speaking to cammy at the black isle show 2 years ago. First time at RHS and will go back next year. My partner said, "I didn't realise Cammy was that tall, and Iona is taller than you, she looks about the same height as you on the podcast" 😂
I'm a knitter and I have started to buy quality yarn ie wool it is natural, ecological and should be right up there. If more people knitted wool you would be getting a lot more than 1.69 per shear
Love your podcasts and I am not connected to farming at all apart from watching Dalscone, Cannon Hall and Hall Hill farms online plus the Sheep game etc.
Lordy, when you got to Iona’s brothers wedding my dog started barking I was laughing so hard.😂 my husband is already asleep it’s 12.45am her in Alberta. He came out blinking, said he couldn’t understand so I must be watching the Sheep Game and turned and went back to bend. 🤣😂
Hi, got my photo taken with you at the highland show. Knew I wouldn’t have the chance again, maybe ! Iona and Marissa , two beautiful girls, just love watching sheep game and FED podcasts.. Family and friends look at me as if I’m mad but brilliant chat, great personalities and very informative ❤
🇨🇦 Just a comment. I listen to your podcast in the car. Sometimes I have to crank up the volume to hear you talk but when you start laughing ……. 😳 it’s so loud !!!!! I like the laughing but perhaps you can try to edit the volumes to equalize 😌
This was a brilliant Friday chat Cammy and Iona! Congratulations to your brother and sister in-law on their marriage Iona 🎉 You gave me a much needed belly laugh this evening. Thank you both SO much for that! 😊😂 ❤
As for non religious churches Cammy, ive seen event hall churches in the US. Not used for services but the architecture is too beautiful to destroy. Typically they are unconsecrated before being used for worldly things.
