People overrate the amount 1 falls to 5 because it’s essentially a coin flip, and you remember bad events or outliers WAYYYY more than you remember things that you think “should happen” as you just brush it off. It’s how the brain works. Like if you played poker all day and played hundreds of hands, you’re going to remember when you lose with AA to KK all in preflop way more than when you have AA Vs KK and win etc. It is what it is. I forget what the name for it is but it’s proven by a bajillion studies.

If you didn’t wanna go Lonzo bc he’s got bad inside and middy grades, so he’s rly just a 3&D G who can pass super well in this game, Fultz was a cool option. Fultz asking for $3.5M less ($21.5M) Y1 w no offers. So you could’ve lowballed him a bit. Surely could’ve done $21M flat for 4yrs, no PO. So 4/$84M. Maybe even slightly less flat, or even front loaded for a little more Y1. Like $22M. Not much diff. $22M front loaded is 4/$81.4M, $20.5M flat is 4/$82M so. Cole $25M Y1 is 4/$107.5M, then he could opt out & ask for 30+ idk. Then RFA v UFA. So it’s food for thought. Idk how Fultz progresses Vs Cole in this game and I paused it to make this post so I wouldn’t be biased. Just figured 4yrs locked up at $20-$21M/yr vs 3+1 for like $26.875/yr when they have near identical grades that we saw (Fultz decent amount better PER D, slightly better middy, near 5* system fit but idk how much that matters, slightly bigger, but then 26yo v 24yo, and cpl less badges) I don’t rly mind either way. I like ORL, but idk if either one will be a starting PG. They’re both mad different. If you could put their best attributes together that’d prolly be one hell of a PG in the next cpl yrs. Should upgrade the potential of players if they get an award all nba team and all star, all nba team +3 potential all star +2 mvp +5 defensive team +2 other awards + 3, the reasoning is that 2k have awful potential like cam Thomas and Clayton who should push higher overall to make it more realistic just an idea
If you do your next rebuild,maybe could do the Drexler/ Porter Trailblazers. They drafted Arvydas Sabonis in his prime,but sadly he only came years later already 33 or 34 years old. You could draft him into that Blazers team in the start of the Jordan era...Sabonis in his prime in the NBA would have been awesome

If you have a 2nd round pick in year 2023 and your using the real draft class i would always recommend drafting Jordan Walsh, hes always dominating altough being a 71 overall, hes also very quick growing to 80 + overall :)
I think your teams would play better if the minutes were allocated better than your pg and sg both getting like 30 minutes while your pf and C getting like all the minutes, you probably got centers playing point gaurd for you and shit lol

I thought about this when I posted a diff comment and it’s prolly too long to read lol. But basically thinking about who would be the ideal back court partner for a 100% healthy Lonzo. Idk if he’ll ever be 100% again. I hope so. Or at least like 90% but he gets the medical attention he needs to take care of the issue, rest and recover from it, then ramp back up. LaVine is obv amazing duo. But there’s prolly a few guys that could be like perfect. Lmk if I forgot anyone. Should be a 6”5 6”6 (or I think Ant is 6”4 but he’s big AF he’s prolly 6”5 anyway) PG/SG who’d greatly benefit from Lonzo, but is prolly a better defender than LaVine, obv gotta be a good 3P shooter or projects as one, can ideally run w him, etc. Lmk if y’all think of anyone I missed. Also, Lonzo would be amazing next to a score first guard who can be a secondary ball handler, create their own shot, but is also unselfish enough to let Lonzo run fast breaks and stuff and get open C&S 3s from his passing. LaVine is a good fit, near perfect (healthy) but I wonder who’d be like perfect. Booker and Ant would both be sick. SGA would be awesome bc he’s like 6”6 and doesn’t shoot many 3s so Lonzo could make up for that, maybe get SGA a cpl more open C&S 3PA, & that’d be a big back court w an elite defender, & SGA is a + defender especially if he doesn’t need to have the ball every play. We saw SGA play off ball more and he can def hit C&S at a high clip. Ant is still young af, but he’d benefit so much from Lonzo. Pushing the pace, a great defender in the back court w him. Book is great w CP, but he’s rly getting old. Zo w Booker would be amazing. Booker is a + defender and would then have an elite one w him. Booker would hit Lonzo w so many open 3s and vice versa. Both can feed teammates. I think Booker would get back to like 38%+ on 7att again. More easy buckets in transition. And I’m doing this in a vacuum not putting healthy Lonzo on their team really. There’s a ton of guys who’d benefit from healthy Lonzo & I hope he’s back to 100% next season. One more hypothetical would be Cade. Cade is another big guard, the perfect guy next to him can push it in transition, hit ahead passes, defend, hit 3s. Cade is a smart defender and they’d be a lethal defensive back court with the crazy size. Unfortunate Cade got hurt like Zo. But I think Cade will become a very good 3P shooter. At least like 37-38% on 5att+. If you put a rim protector who can catch lobs w them, then a knockdown 3&D shooter, and a SF/PF who can just get buckets that’d be so fun. I didn’t do Luka just bc idk how fun it’d be. Luka doesn’t rly push the pace, and I feel like Lonzo would just be another 3&D wing around him. Obv his passing would help but it’s more isos. Plus zo already has LaVine, and 100% healthy LaVine is fantastic w Zo already. You wish he was a better defender (he’s not bad when he tries) tho and he takes a lot of pull-up 3s. So I was trying to think of a guy who’d be 6”5+, a good 3P shooter, a + defender, could play on & off ball, and ideally could pass as well. Cade is still hypothetical but if he pans out he’d be awesome (already got the size, work ethic, bball IQ, defense, can def pass just has to get the TOVs down, and then I’d be shocked if he isn’t a shooter by the end of next season or beginning of one after) and so is Ant to a degree (still gotta get more reps handling it, defense needs to get better but I know it will, and gotta sustain the 3P but he takes so many pull-ups it’d help to have Zo) but he’s close afffff. SGA isn’t there like Booker is there just bc of experience and the burden he has w subpar teammates, but I can’t fathom him not being there super soon. I’d like to see him get back to like 5 3PA, but they need better players who can set him up and I have no reason to believe he can’t hit 38%+ on 5att. I think I came to Booker as my conclusion just bc I think if he had another guy to run the floor with, a passer/defender, and a big guard who can shoot 37%+ on like 7att that’d be perfect for him. He’s like LaVine but a better defender, better passer, and I think while he’s not the 3P shooter LaVine is, I think he’s a bit smarter w shot selection and with Zo I think he’d get the 3P% back to 38%+ on 6-7att.

Cole 10-14 2P, Wallace 5-7 2P, Paolo 4-5 2P, Cam 3-5 2P, Claxton 6-8 2P. Jameson 9reb/2stls/4blks in 19mp Claxton 12/2stls/3blks on 6-8 FG, but fouled out in 26mp Rhodes 6/6/6/4/1 Then the only 2 ppl who shot > like 42% FG beside Claxton & some random who went 2-4: Cole 26/11/9 on 12-19 FG in 42mp Wallace 19/1 on 8-13 FG in 21mp Cole & Wallace 2-5 & 3-6 3P. Rest of team 6-35 3P 😂
Record for most assts in a game by a team is 53, but I figured 37 wasn’t close to a record all time. That assist to FGM ratio tho on high volume especially in a fairly low scoring game, and it’s not like you guys made a bunch’s FTs. The record game, the score was 143-84. 53assts on 65 FGM. So that’s like 81.5% of FGM assted, this was 80.4%. 60p win in the 70s tho and a regular season game. No 3P line. 37assts tied for 7th ever in a finals game. 44 happened twice. Almost had the most assts with least FGM in finals. One team had 38assts on 46FGM in in 1970. So 2nd. It was pre 3P line tho, so in 3P era it’s most on least FGM. 😂 Was bored and that stuck out to me. Knew it had to be something weird.
For reference I checked like last 10-15 seasons, you usually lead the league if you have like 65% of your FGM assisted. Peak GSW was 69.7%. Lowest is usually low 50s, occasionally high 40s. So 80%+ is ridiculous. Especially shooting
