NPR really struck gold with this concept. I always check it out if they release one with a name I recognise. Austin's raspy voice in this recording actually really adds to the vibe they were going for. I can see him with a naturally raspy voice thirty years from now, playing a similar concert in some gritty bar, and I want to be there. I want to see more Tiny Desk from you. Feel free to pick whichever you like. (I enjoyed Anderson .Paak's)

I have to agree with you that he normally sings so clear but his voice in this one added to the vibe. Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll definitely try to do some more.

It's that girl it's that girl on this like guitar. She completely takes over the song from the first to answer. Danza, oh, it's amazing who put this together. Who put this together? I said opening Stan up, not Tony Danza stanza SCN. Z.

post doesn't get nearly enough credit as an artist. when he gets chances to explore his creativity he never fails to impress. you should check out some of his cover songs he's done if you haven't. he's done some great country songs, and a couple great grunge covers too.

I’ve heard him sing country and he kills it. He could switch over easily. He’s super talented and does go unnoticed. Probably because if the way he looks and that’s a shame.

Uh, now there's that vicious slug guitar player that girl is dominant. What is going on right now? How do you put together so many amazing musical parts? And this song is Majestic. I mean, this is crazy. I'm gonna shut up now. I don't have to and maybe I won't, but my God. It's great. It's truly great

Well I'm getting educated today, lol. Have to say never heard of this song or even Post Malone, but this is quite far out of the genre of music I listen to. Musically it was good, and the slide guitar was soft and nicely done, but I have to say that for me, I wasn't taken with his vocals, a little too scratchy. However, he certainly seems like a pretty decent guy for sure! Ok, decided to listen to the original and I have heard this song, probably off the radio. I actually prefer the original better, and Swae Lee has the better voice (to me). But at least I'm being introduced to new groups/songs, so I appreciate that from you Bob!

These tiny desk concerts are pretty cool. You get to hear a song being arranged and played differently. Post Malines voice was definitely tired in this song. He doesn’t normally have that raspy sound. It’s usually pretty clear and great sounding. Super popular artist. Sells out every where he goes. You hate to say that because if the way he looks you would expect something different. But he is more like the Japanese artists being humble and respecting everyone and treating everyone the same. Gotta respect that especially if you are super famous.

Though the song is beautiful i honestly, I don't think it was good at all, he looks like he was forcing the voice out, and running out of breath..

He was but he explains that he was in the middle of a big tour and no one’s voice is made for that. So it was great that he took the time to do this for npr.

That's precious, you don't think he was good. The world's number one singer with the world's number 1 song and you don't think he was good, God bless you, I hope things go good at WA'. WA' tomoryou're insanely insolent. See how I did that. I tried to rhyme. It's actually a literation, a little illiteration. Anyway, good luck to you, my friend. But that's the world's best singer with the world's number one song. And you didn't think it was very good.God bless you
