So everyone saying he’s tweaking but how come he goes right back to normal after he’s done singing? This is just raw emotion he puts in his performance. Respect
Nothing like an artist completely getting lost in their music and pouring out their soul. He was feeling that shit for real. Just raw emotion. Gotta respect it
This man has got me threw so many dark days . Almost 5 years in recovery now and I still listen to him everyday thank you posty I can't wait to see u live
I feel 💯 with you, I'm in a situation right now where I'd like to give up everything but luckily there's still music that gives me the strength to carry on and Post Malone is one of them. A big hug ❤
When doing music, we often write our experiences. Judging by his performance, those were his words written in blood, sweat, tears. No one understands why he performs this song this way, it's his healing language and it's foreign to us cause we're busy performing our Traumas in our own language. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
i teared up immediately. you can just *feel* the deep emotion in his voice. just bearing out his soul. so so powerful, wish i could’ve been there to experience that
It takes a huge amount of self awareness and confidence to be this vulnerable in front of thousands of people. This isn’t drugs, this is pure expression. Not many people can open up like this. One name that comes to mind of those who can, Kurt Kobain.
This song damn near brings me to tears every time I hear it, it gives me the chills. I love how you can see this song cuts deep into his veins. Even in the regular track you can just feel the raw emotion. I didn’t know people thought he was twacked during this performance but that is absolutely not true. As a musician myself I can tell he’s just singing from his soul. This is absolutely beautiful and transcendent. Keep pouring your heart out Post your music is on a whole other level.
All of this ❤️ I don't write music, but I do find singing extremely therapeutic. When the song touches your soul it affects your whole body. When I sing a song that fully resonates I look just like this. So many artists perform with their whole bodies, they just care about how they look on stage so they hold it in.
I agree. It's much more emotional than on the album. I like it better too. but gotten better at singing? there is so much auto tune in the vocal chain that he could literally fart into the mic and still hit every note. but don't get me wrong. this is an incredibly good live performance. Respect!!
The man is a genius. Lyrically. Musically. Emotionally. He understands it all. He's not "tweaking". If you’ve ever me a high functioning individual on the Spectrum, you'd get it. When he's "in the shit, he's in in the shit". That's raw emotion, from an emotionally intelligent individual, in a genre that usually doesn't produce this level of emotional intelligence.
Have you seem a person who is up for days on a serious tweek binge? IMHO something ain't right His arm movements, the way he is dressed compared to almost every other concert... C'mon guys Coke will tweak your ass out too
As a 27 year old male, getting blind sided with a serperation and a 2 year old daughter. I can vouch and say this man has had his heart broken and is doing all he can to show emotion externally so his vocals don't break. Trying to talk is hard let alone sing about heart break
No Kids involved, But had the same thing happen i was 33 though, Was literally a month away from proposing to her, On the surface she was all smiles and happy talking about our future etc. Then all of a sudden "done" and its over. 3+ year loving relationship down the drain. Its songs like this that get us through those times.
Totally agree. 26 myself, married at 21 currently with 3 children and now separated from my wife/children's mam and trying to luck after my alcoholic dad. It's a struggle. Never had an opinion on Post Malone but God damn. What a talented guy !!!
You can just tell that this wasn’t just a song he recorded years ago.. It was a magnificently hurtful experience. He used the pain as a fuel source. Music like this has helped me so much through heartbreak because it’s so relatable and reminds me that we’re all in the great fight of life together.
He’s literally ALWAYS performed this way. People who haven’t been to multiple shows of his have no idea 😂 He’s literally that real, vulnerable, and freaking amazing.
@@Riverr08 if that's so then why can't that part be found on the internet because he's high I jus wish y'all had this much compassion for the tweaked out guy at the bus stop acting like this
@@christianbolze7092are you stupid? You can clearly hear the difference when he is singing and not in this very video? Moments when he isn’t singing you hear the backtrack and then you hear his voice. Plus you couldn’t fake this.
@@chidodood3052 you saying he is tweaking? Brother you should go watch some live performances. He is perfectly fine and simply relives the memories that created the song and shows it to us physically.
Everyone says he’s on drugs but most of us have been down on our luck and hurt so bad that when we found a song like this and sung it with our heart and soul we looked like we was on something. With him he made this song every time he sings it I bet it brings those feelings back and how he felt when he wrote it. This is him just putting his heart and soul into this song.
Y’all gotta realize how powerful this song probably is to him. It’s so emotional and he wrote it based on person experiences in his life. Then he’s gotta relive that every time he sings this. It can’t be easy. Great performance post🐐🐐
People are quick to say that he is on drugs or whatever, but they are not listening to the song, the way he falls on the floor he is literally falling apart... Down to his core..
This dude is performing one of the most heartfelt songs in history without debate In front of millions. He’s not tweaking he’s feeling every single moment of his performance. Nothing but respect to this man. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 LETS GO
Great song Great artist. But are we gonna act like "tweaking" like that is normal even for a sober person thinking about a heartbreak or vibing to a song :/
@@JG-vo8eyDon't worry these will be the same people, saying only if we knew we could of helped him, When he overdoses, Thankfully though, his child is pointing him into the right direction unlike his audience. He may not be tweaking okay sure but you have to acknowledge he is burnt out from all these concerts, The fact they dont is astonishing. They must be npcs.
I wonder if he relives the entire story the song is about, every time he sings it.. god damn that caught me off guard. I'm over here tearing up. What a display of raw emotion.
ALOT OF PPL FORGET, post wrote this from a persoanl experience with his ex. So even if he is tweaking. The man is pouring all his emotion into his craft and can do it better than most of u sober.
I’ve literally never listened to his music. Not once. And these days we don’t even listen to the radio, so you have to want to hear something & purposely go looking for it to listen to it. I’ve never gone looking for Post Malone. But for some reason this just came up on my feed & I was scrolling past it, but then I was like “what kind of music does he even do?” I figured it was easy enough to just stop listening if I hate it. And now I’m a pretty big Post Malone fan. Holy shit, this is amazing.
This man sings from his soul! He ain't tweekin he's into the feeling of a broken heart if you watch him you feel it. I about started crying when he went to the ground with the mic! What an awesome performer
I was at this concert. He was supporting the Chilli Peppers and I'd never really heard much of his music and now I can't stop listening. He came across with so much gratitude and really genuine. Last year was one of the hardest Ive had. Listening to posty got me through it, thank you Sir 💜
If you think getting down in a spiderman stance and putting the mic in your mouth making crackhead movements with your hands is emotions you're completely delusional lmao. Man starts tweaking hard at 1:06 until the video ends. His live performances with the song from 2016 all the way until now are nothing like this 😂 buddy is rolling hard on ecstasy
Imagine being the person this song was written for. And imagine the amount of love this must have been if you fall apart every time you sing it. Maybe it is true. Maybe true love will always leave you broken
He literally mimed the whole thing. You can hear him shout out at 2:52 which funnily enough, isn't broadcast over the mic. And then you don't hear a peep out him for the rest of the video other than what is coming out of the speakers (recorded track). Couple of points where the audio/video are out of sync too. This man is just like the rest of them, don't be fooled.
@@georgesmith3391 You're special arent you? You can see him trying to find the mic when its on the ground to finish the song and the audio clearly reflects that
Protect this man at all costs! One of the most genuine artists of our time! I've seen some people expressing their feelings 200% on stage before they suddenly committed suicide. Don't be another member of the 27 club dear fella 🖤
That’s what I’m saying… I don’t think this behavior is drugs exerting it’s influence over him per se, whether he’s on them or not. To me, this just looks like someone so broken they don’t care what anyone thinks. Almost like a cry for help. Like I’m gonna act as strange as possible, knowing you’re not even gonna acknowledge it, as my way of further stamping the reality that I have no one and I’m stuck and I want out. Pray for him, in the Name of Jesus. That’s all we got and all he’s got. Jesus Christ saves, and He is the answer to the void we all have, the missing piece we’re all quietly looking for in every area BUT HIM. He’s the Truth. God Bless
I was convinced he was tweaking but I watched his full appearance, also on RU-vid, and he is completely fine before and for more than an hour after this performance. I’ve watched this probably 10 times in the last few days trying to determine but it was quite clear when watching the whole video. It is relieving and I have become an even bigger fan
His movements are typical for us autistics. I’m convinced he is autistic and adhd, just everything about him tbh we recognise our own.. that said, I wouldn’t be surprised if he uses heroin. He doesn’t strike me as a tweaker but he does remind me a bit too much of my ex, a functioning H addict.
Either his acting is as good as his singing or he has felt unimaginable pain. This song has made me cry so many time. Ty Post... a good cleansing cry can be so theraputic.

Everyone vibes their own way. He was feeling something while singing. And he expressed it in his way. Some people hardly move some grab at them selves like they are tearing the pain away, it’s a vibe man. Goosebumps!
@@lolhey8559 that was before he got clean in middle of 2022. He is only dri king now and is on a really big healthy diet eating really clean and lean. I'm not going to judge him either way. I've done my share of substances in my life and when I decided to get clean I never looked back.
If you think he tweaking then you have never felt TRUE heartache...this is pure emotion flowing from an artist who lives that heartache through his art....you feel the pain in his voice an lyrics. I felt this type of heartache an it burns an cuts at you and aches this song was on repeat for a min.
He’s falling apart-down to his core. His body language represents just that. If you’ve ever had your heart broke you would know it can feel like the world is collapsing on you; his body language is a metaphor for that pain.
I thought It was so obvious. Hope more people like this comment. Especially after you see him clearly look up and say “thank you” at the end be efore I cuts.
I'm 65 years old and I'm young at heart. Post Malone has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Keep singing and take good care of yourself, boy, you're privileged. ♥
Totally different genre, but I'd suggest Colter Wall if you enjoy Post's vibrato. Both of them have incredible control over their vibrato. I don't even know if it's true vibrato. It might just be some really neat vocal technique possibly involving vibrating the jaw?

Pure Emotions 💙 Posty does not give a F as to what others think about it and what society told us to do. He feels it and he shows it! He is the REAL MAN!
This is performance if you guys watch his hero’s of the 80’s and 90’s you would get it! He really feels music he’s different not just another star! Enjoy someone that has this kind of passion and love it doesn’t happen often!
@@nateridgeway1482 correction, its not autotune its similar but it programs and plays in his earpiece what it should sound like normally but he still has to hit the perfect notes to get it to sound good (i study music production at Uni so dont try contradicting me) Juice wrld used it in his rolling loud robbery performance aswell, still takes tremendous skill to get the notes right.
Have you ever felt a song so much while singing it to yourself and your body just reacts in ways that seem not to make sense but its only an expression that proves youve been through something and your a card carrying memeber of the human race. We’ve all fallen apart and still trying to pick up the pieces. This performance is that
