I have criticized him for missing chances, now hearing him speak I feel bad, he seems really nice and is only a kid. He does cause opposition problems with his height and he does get into positions. I think the problem is leaving out Danny Johnson who is the best finisher when all the other strikers are regularly missing chances...even though all the other strikers do have their advantages.
It is the tallest Walsall side I think I've seen in 30+yrs... Tall central defenders, tall forwards...and they are scoring goals of corners, and there is a bit of spirit in the team although they have been inconsistent and really have created enough problems for opposition that they should already be secure in the play offs. Don't think they'll make it now, but if they can keep the team together for next season they might be able to challenge for the play offs again.
