Hi Emma so nice to see you back I’ve really missed you but please take your time and don’t rush back to doing too much. You look well and I’m so glad your op is over and you can recover now. I had my hysterectomy when I was 32 and my youngest daughter was 10 months old so it wasn’t easy and I had a lot of days crying so just remember it’s all normal. Hormones are a nightmare. So happy to hear that Harvey is home for summer and looking forward to maybe seeing him in some of your videos too. Kaia looks absolutely beautiful that dress is stunning. Love your ice coffee station and the earrings they are gorgeous will need to have a look on there. Thank you for another lovely video and if you don’t feel up to posting please don’t feel you have to. We will be happy to wait. Please look after yourself and take care. Love to you and your family. My son had his prom the other week to, it does make you proud when you think of everything they've had to do in the last couple of months. They do so well under pressure. Lovely to see you back Emma and hope you are feeling better each day and get some sleep! 🥰 FYI the trapped wind isn’t in the bowel so you can’t pass it. 🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s when they do the surgery and they inflate your abdominal cavity with air. They remove the air but some gets trapped and hence you get pain around the top of your chest and shoulders because it travels upwards. Hope that makes sense! Xx

Hi Emma, looking good! Glad the op went well and you are recovering well. After my hysterectomy a nurse told me the anaesthetic can stay in your body for 6 weeks, hence highs and lows. Recovery can be frustrating but listen to your body and rest when you need to so you can enjoy your holidays.

Hi Emma Glad to see you looking so well even if you don’t feel it. Hopefully each day you’ll feel better just don’t rush things even though its keyhole you’ve had major surgery. I know only to well that pain you get from wind it’s terrible isn’t it , sort of under your shoulder and like a knife in the back. With keyhole the pump you full of air to expand everything so they cane basically get in. But it’s far better than being cut and have lots of stitches. Fingers crossed you’ll feel better each day it takes time . Your daughter looked really lovely, my niece wore red to her prom 2 years ago such a great colour. X

Good to see you return and in good spirits ❤ My son has finished school now after GCSE’s and I’m of same opinion as you, he’s dyslexic so struggles with academic subjects but I was so proud of how he conducted himself throughout, he won’t get high achieving grades but I know he had done the best he could 💕 xx

Hello so glad you are back and doing well . I had a full hysterectomy 7 years ago . My fibroids were so big I had to have a abdominal cut which meant I woke with a drain etc I remember the trapped wind and I as soon as I scared to try to pass it as I was terrified of the big cut wound . Xxx

Hi Emma , I did warn you about the awful wind 💨😉😂 . Yes I was very up and down after mine but I didn’t have ovaries removed, I guess you will have to take HRT now? Please don’t over do things you may think you feel better but your body will tell you your not ready . Maybe spend the morning doing some sightseeing but go back and rest in the afternoons. I have not slept well for ages think it’s definitely a hormone and stress thing with me, just been diagnosed with under active thyroid! Apparently quite common in people who are coeliacs also being tested for being Dairy intolerant atm have had terrible stomach problems again, have had a lot of tests to try and find out what’s going on process of elimination. Always something! Loved your daughters prom dress my daughter when she had her prom many years ago wore a red dress as well ❤ Please rest and take care of yourself,your health is the most important thing don’t worry about getting videos out. Take care ❤

Hi Kim, yes the wind was terrible LOL. They don’t really advise HRT for me as I have had blood clots on my lungs twice. I’m going to see how I get on and if I don’t feel better, I will make an appointment to go and see the GP and see what they can offer, thank you so much for all your support. it sounds like you are going through it as well. Hi Emma I'm pleased all went well. You are looking really well. As I told you before I had a Hysterectomy at 34. All are saying about recovery is correct. It took me about 8 weeks to recover but I did have a large incision along my pelvis. They weren't doing keyhole surgery in those days lol. Make sure you have a nap in the afternoon. Kyra looked gorgeous in the red dress. So onwards and upwards for you now ❤❤❤

Awwww it's wonderful to see u again Emma😀. Iv often thought about you, wondering how you hav been getting on since your op. You look really well everyone if you don't feel great. Yes you MUST listen to your body and take it as easy as you can, there's no rush and like u said you don't want to overdo it and end up putting bk your recovery. I love those baskets from b and M and wot a good idea to make a iced coffee station. Get this, iv never had an iced coffee 🤣 I'm late to the party but I really fancy trying one, I think I'll go to Poundland like u bcus sachets can b really dear ithe supermarket. Aww will b lovely to hav the summer with Harvey won't it, some good quality time. Aww Kyra looked beautiful. Well I'm sending u a massive hug🤗 you take it easy. Lots of hugs and good health wishes . Hope your doing OK hun I had full hysterectomy on the 5th June cause of fibroids I was in high dependency for four days I've been quiet low I've been trying to carry on as normal am not aload to lift for 8 weeks ❤❤❤❤xxx

Hi Emma, nice to see you back ❤ missed you, my lovely friend. You take it easy and pleased everything went well with your opp. Can i ask if your having HRT ? Good to hear, Harvey be back home for the summer and oh how lovely you have holidays to look forward too. 😊 Your daughter looks absolutely stunning in her prom dress. Beautiful girl thank you for sharing ❤️ As always a thank you for sharing your video. P.s i am fully menopausal now not taking HRT and been 2/3 years now but yes sleeping patterns have defo changed for me i cant fall asleep untill very late. Up very early and maybe only getting 5 hours distributed sleep 😢 hot sweats at night and day. Hate summer months. I get moody up and down too. Just thought i share this with you. Its absolutely awful 😖 dont know who could help or weather HRT will work. Anyways Emma have a great week and rest up. Lots of love xxx ❤️ 💖 ❤

Hi Helen, I’m not on HRT, they don’t really advise it as I have had blood clots on my lungs twice so I am now on lifelong blood thinners. It sounds like you have struggled a lot as well with the menopause. We have to put up with a lot don’t we. Thank you so much for all your support I really do appreciate it. Hi Emma darling. Honestly i couldn't wait to see this lovely mixed haul. We've been in wales almost 1 week and only come home today. Emma its such a pleasure to see you back and looking so very well. I cannot believe its 4 weeks almost since you've had your hysterectomy. Doesn't time fly by. Honestly emma you never bore us. I could listen to you all day long. Omg what a stunning daughter you got. Kaia looks like a model. Her dress is stunning. Im glad she had a lovely time and enjoyed herself. So lovely for you and the family to have the lovely harvey home. Emma he is a lovely young man. Hopefully we will be seeing him in the next few vlogs. Emma my lovely please take care of yourself. You have had major surgery so please take it easy. I really hope you get your sleeping pattern back soon. Sleep is so important and part of your recovery. Love your iced coffee station. I was in b@m couple of weeks ago and got a beautiful mirror for my lounge. They have some lovely things in and at very affordable prices. Hi Emma good to hear you are recovering.. my hysterectomy 3 years ago hit me for a loop..it took about a year for all to settle...especially all the different seasons emotionally that I had in a day ..highly recommended HTR ... just take care

Hi Emma - Welcome back you are looking good however speaking from experience you must try & take it easy & let things settle down like you said your emotions are up & down - TMI warning going to the loo was my biggest problem & the pain from the trapped wind was horrendus but that was quite a few yrs ago -Kai looked beautiful in her prom dress red is def her color

Oh emma you had a lot removed, don't do too much too quick, I'm 54, at 31 thanks to 2 choc ovarian cysts I almost died during the c section when surgeons knife went thru a cyst and I almost died as choc fluid mixed with my blood, can't have children so not gr8, your hormones will go mad, cry away and fart away 😂❤
