PP hair loss is no joke! I had my first almost s year ago and still BF also but I felt everything she said. I felt so self conscious especially every wash day and clumps just came out, my hair had gotten so thick while pregnant and it was just getting thinner and thinner. I retained length and it had slowed down a lot but I also stayed on my vitamins too. Great video and sis hair looks amazing. You're doing great momma. Awesome work Damien
@@msbrit5178 me too sis! My hair also had gotten so thick I was too happy and then that pp hit like a ton of bricks! I think I'm still having a little shedding that's more than my normal but I will I could have kept that thickness lol
I love that you are knowledgeable and understanding. I had a stylist say my hair fell out because I twisted it because she did not believe in postpartum shedding.
I lost my edges with both of my kids. I’m also a naturalist. Prenatal vitamins were def a big help. Even as a naturalist just temporarily, to help get the body get back to “normal”.
I'm glad somebody did a efficient video on post partum with locs cause honestly I needed to see. But I came to the conclusion that I had little to no damage to my locs and my locs are good
Great video 🤗! I just had my 4th child two months ago and I’m breastfeeding also. My locs are 10 months old and my edges did suffer postpartum with my other kids. Hoping it doesn’t do too bad this time😬! Thank you also for your kindness that you spoke about of the postpartum period. It’s nice to know that some men actually get it🙏🏿.
My story is similar, I have a 2 month old. Thank you for this info 🙏🏾. I started my 4yo locs over a few months prior to giving birth in March of this year because I was afraid I was going to lose my locs after giving birth. Im liking my new set of diy locs better.
I took my locs out a few months ago due to postpartum. I had to cut two locs out prior to taking them. I miss them too. I’m about to just restart them.
This was me my baby just turned 1 and lots my edges I comb my locs because I was scared I was going to lose some due to baby pulling. I will start over again on September
My daughter lost her hair with her first child. She did nurse for a couple of months with her first and second child. But I recommended she continue with supplements and it helped tremendously. And her her looks thick and healthy now. And the youngest is one now. I think supplements ate important.
